Buying tickets for away games

Just to add to the list - what do people think about sales for Leicester away at the end of next month?

It won't sell out, neither will Ipswich, neither will Reading if we're given the full allocation. While bored I had a look through a few other Championship club's websites and I think we've got to expect to be pay around the £30 mark for most away games, not good.

Ipswich are charging daft prices. Some tickets at their place are £50 for home fans! Mental.

The only game this season anyone will struggle for tickets with will be the Skates. Any other game, if you want one and get in there quick enough, you will get one. I'll be surprised if we sell out more than 4 away's this season.

I had 2 idiots behind me at the WBA game on Wednesday. One of them said they wanted to go to Leicester away but won't be able to because they won't manage to get tickets, because we "always sell out and have the best away support in the country."

Ha, we do have an unbelievably high number of such cretins!

Oof, makes our season ticket prices seem pretty reasonable IMO.

probably not unless they mess us around with one of those pay up front deals if we want the full allocation in which case we'll go for a lessor amount and it might sell out. If its top v second then it will have an added attraction.

If it was 1st v 2nd after Christmas I could see it having a big appeal. Doubt it will get the masses excited at the end of August.

We very rarely venture north of London in decent numbers.

Notts County, Colchester and Peterboro all had good away support last season

We've brought good numbers to Walsall the last two seasons too.

I'd be suprised if we didnt sell out at least 6 or 8 away games next season. Can see the London games, Pompey, Brighton, Birmingham, Forest, Reading, Bristol City maybe even Cardiff all being very popular.

West Ham being midweek and likely to be pricey will knock a fair few off that one, other London ones will be popular although we never take many to Millwall, Pompey and Brighton will be popular, but the other one's you list won't come anywhere near to selling out unless we get an unusually small allocation.

I see on the Saints FC website that the Barnsley tickets are available from Monday but will only be sent out by Recorded Delivery that have to be signed when delivered, I've never had that before. Apparently it's because Barnsley don't accept responsibility for lost or stolen tickets.

It would also be good if on the website they stated whether tickets or admission were available at the away ground on the day of the match.

Tickets for ipswich are madness,31 quid is a lot imo. Does anyone know what qualifies as young adult for the game?

Who cares? Just get the young adult ticket anyway. Especially seeing as they've got electric scanners so they won't have a clue.

We took nearly 2k to Millwall the last time we went in 09/10. Also took 1k+ to Rochdale last season on a Tuesday night. Also recall taking 1800 to Coventry on a Tuesday night a few season back.

I doubt it mate, it's on Valentines day, a lot of the lemons in our fanbase wont be allowed out that night.

They were probably the ones that were posting on here a few back saying we could easily get 45,000 and we are the new Barcelona.
