Daren W Posted 29 July, 2011 Posted 29 July, 2011 There is indeed Darren. Like how people are working out who i am. Not rocket science is it... lol
jjsaint Posted 29 July, 2011 Posted 29 July, 2011 When Guly scored against Bristol Rovers. That was the moment when I thought, yes we're going to do this.
Colinjb Posted 29 July, 2011 Posted 29 July, 2011 CFSFC... I think you commenting 'What a Picture' in response to my match write up gives the game away ever so slightly. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/content.php?180-Brighton-1-2-Saints
Appy Posted 29 July, 2011 Posted 29 July, 2011 My best moment was when i did this same thread about a month ago.
Jack Posted 29 July, 2011 Posted 29 July, 2011 My main ones are listed above, but one moment I really loved was up at Sheffield Wednesday away, back when they were still expected to live up to being 2nd favourite for the title. 2000+ saints fans in great voice, barney scoring a quality goal with 15(?) mins to go, then kelvin turning a cracking strike just round the post (Morrison?) with the last kick of the game to save the 3 points. The whole stand celebrated that save as much as barney's goal. Then again at the final whistle. Good night out after that in Sheffield too.
COMEONYOUREDS Posted 29 July, 2011 Posted 29 July, 2011 Being the frst one on the track away v Brighton and hugging fonte, guly jumping on my back and lambert grabbing my face and shouting get the f**k in. Then having to do a leg to not get arrested... Best moment of my saints career. quality!
SparkySaint Posted 29 July, 2011 Posted 29 July, 2011 Barnard's goal v Orient. I was right at the front enjoying the sunshine. Great day too. I was the last Saints fan in the pub
Colbury Posted 29 July, 2011 Posted 29 July, 2011 1.)Lambert vs Plymouth 2.)Fonte vs Brighton 3.)Barnard vs MK 4.)Guly vs Bristol Rovers 5.)Hammond vs Bournemouth

The goal celebration was class at that one. Shame about 80% of our support decided they wanted to be sit-down c*nts.

We were right in line with it, the second Morrison hit it I thought it was in.. god knows how Kelv turned it round the post. Was a great win that day.
K,Billy's supersound Posted 29 July, 2011 Posted 29 July, 2011 the results at both bournmouth away and brighton away.

SaintBobby Posted 30 July, 2011 Posted 30 July, 2011 Saints 0 Rochdale 2. I thought they were a very well organised and disciplined team. And it's always nice to see the underdogs do well :-)

lambertsrightleg Posted 30 July, 2011 Posted 30 July, 2011 i remember going into the staff room when we were playing brighton. i had the worst radio reception possible but literally as soon as i turned it on we scored and i went bonkers. By the time Fonte had scored I was uncontrollable and then spent the 6 minutes of injury time leant aginst the lockers not speaking to anybody. unfortunately for me the staff room backs onto reception and when i walked out the receptionists, managers and customers were less than impressed. other than that Lamberts header and the following chaos at half time was pretty special. As was Lallanas pearler and Lamberts penaltys against Bournemouth.
Thedelldays Posted 30 July, 2011 Posted 30 July, 2011 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCCZZZAH5eg my favourite "lost it" moment....everyone just went nuts...it was then we were as good as up.... also, shows butters yet again throwing in a good cross for rickie

Dr Who? Posted 30 July, 2011 Posted 30 July, 2011 The late goals against Brighton I believe was a key turning point in the promotion race. After that game we looked unstoppable!!

They didn't even show it on the highlights on saints player.
Secret Site Agent Posted 30 July, 2011 Posted 30 July, 2011 I went to my daughters to watch the Brighton game. When Connelly scored, I screamed. When Davies saved, I screamed. When Jose Fonte scored I raised the roof. And then I had to apologies to her neighbours for being so loud.
chivvy1664 Posted 31 July, 2011 Posted 31 July, 2011 MK dons took my son (6) who started crying at 2-0 down. I told him not worry we come back (not believing we would). When the second went we went mad and when the third hit the net i dont think i have ever been so overcome with emotional joy at a match before. HIs face was pricelss. Only camaras winner at Norwich equalled this style of emotional outcry.
Northant Saint Posted 31 July, 2011 Posted 31 July, 2011 Apart from Chaplow v Man Utd, I remember the Barnard goal against Sheff Wed very well. This was at a point when our season was just starting to turn round, we still weren't playing great under Adkins, but when Lee scored everyone went nuts, perhaps more through relief than anything else.

This was at a point when our season was just starting to turn round, we still weren't playing great under Adkins, but when Lee scored everyone went nuts, perhaps more through relief than anything else. After a long think, this is my favourite moment too. That save (and the one from the same player about 30 seconds earlier, both in injury time) meant so much in terms of getting us going last season. By that time I was in agony having had a wisdom tooth removed a few days earlier which had become infected. I was pumped full of pain killers but they weren't working. The euphoria of that moment when the match ended did the job and the endorphin release kept me going until I was walking back throught the park and nearly flaked. After spitting a sh*t load of blood and puss into a waste basket I got the tram back to the station and home.
Griffo Posted 2 August, 2011 Posted 2 August, 2011 Don't know if this has been posted but found a Youtube video of all the goals this season.
