What do you think of alternating the home strip every season? One season he would have the sash and the next the stripes. Personally i loved the sash strip and would like to see it again next season. Changing the style of the kit every season would satisfy most people and would end the strip or sash debate.

I would hate to see the Sash kit ruined by having a sponsor plastered over it. Great kit, and a great season, but Saints are red & white stripes for me so I'm happy to return to that.

I'd rather they changed the kit every 2 years. £84 every year for 2 shirts is a disgrace. Home kits could change when the year ends with an even number (2012, 2014) Away kits on odd years (2013, 2015).

He was actually talking about changing the kit to a sash on alternate years rather than just changing the kit... which I think is short-termist randomism. Though I mostly agree that changing it every year is unnecessary, all it means to me is that I'm going to think a bit harder about whether I pay full price for one.

Agreed, I hate being forced to spend £84 of my hard earned cash every year with no choice in the matter. Disgrace is absolutely the correct word.

It's a shame we have gone yearly on the shirts but we had done well to resist it for so long. It is an obvious way to increase merchandising revenue and one employed by most clubs out there now.

As for the design, loved the sash but it feels right to be back in stripes.

If the market shows the demand is there, then who can blame the club?
