The bookies favourite for the design is a picture of Storrie with the script ' Forever a Cheating Skate ' ! I wish them good luck with this admirable project
Saint Fan CaM Posted 24 July, 2011 Posted 24 July, 2011 Great tribute - well executed. Not completely happy with the design if I'm honest, however very pleased to see it come to fruition. I hope that it will be seen at all home games in the build up to the game and again at half-time.

Time to 'fess up, I actually completely missed that, because I was posting some crap about kits on this Forum from my iPhone. We were sat there going "what are they all applauding ?", and assumed it must have been the flag, though I didn't actually notice it wasn't there. So if the club controls its use, would I be right in thinking we're never going to get the chance to stand under it making it bounce and complaining that we can't see the pitch ? That would be a shame.

I'm sure someone at the club will cite "elf and safety" but if it's OK for other clubs....? p.s. was a bit of a shame the flag wasn't draped across the empty Itchen so it was opposite the cameras. Would have been more prevalent in some of the video footage I've seen. Still, it looked great nonetheless
