A player saying he hopes to play some part in the game. Can't see the issue

I wasn't talking about his reply in this case, but just answering questions like that in the future.

However, West Brom do now know there is a possibility he could play. Something that if it were a competitive game, the club may not want made public. Of course in this case it doesn't matter at all and is a mountain out of a molehill. ;)

He'll have to be careful about answering tweets like that in the future for competitive games, as Adkins won't like team info made public.

Bet you would report him to Adkins. You are the fun Hoover, sucking the joy out of the Internet leaving nothing but cold metallic facts and football manager stats.

The fun is watching Saints win. Anything that may help that should be done, do you not agree?

Hence why Leeds and Simon Grayson did this...

We don't want Leeds to have a ban on Twitter, our players giving team news away and Leeds beating us on the opening day do we? ;)

  • 2 weeks later...

Heard how this deal came about.

De Ridder mentioned to someone that he wanted to play in the premiership as it was the best league to play in he thinks.

This guy mentioned it to Svensson (take it he was talking about Michael not Anders) and he said come to Southampton as it would be a great place to learn the English game, the words give it two years in that league and you will be ready was mentioned.

So does he wait for us to get there or does he demand a transfer?

Anyway thanks Michael for this as early signs tell us he is going to be a gem.
