What Games Are You Missing This Season Then And Why!?!

Recommended Posts

Am off on holiday early Saturday morning for 2 weeks and then off again for a week and other games during the holidays so I will be away for the start of the season so will be missing: Leeds (H!), Torquay (H!), Barnsley (A!), Millwall (H!) and Leicester (A!) but will try and make the Ipswich (A!) game in between before being back to normal v Forest at St Marys in September!

What games will you be missing and why!?!

Thanks!

Am missing the Leeds game as I'll be on a stag do, chances are I won't even be able to watch it on tv! Also missing the Forest and Birmingham games as I'm on holiday. Almost wasn't worth renewing my ST!

I'm going to South Africa for 3 weeks but fixtures worked out very kindly. There is an International break whilst I'm away so only miss one home league game against Watford.

Gonna miss bournemouth (x 3), really.enjoyed those.

Gonna be away for Forest, which was a sad sequestered 3 years ago but something that day gave us a glimmer that has now turned into a sunrise. Welcome back you ex European treats. Unlike dirty Leeds, a club for all football clubs to aspire to.

Will miss the Leeds game as going to Cyprus for my sons wedding and will miss Brighton when on a break in November but now the major problem, I am taking the family to Kenya for a big birthday next April and will miss Skates and Reading and will be on safari with probably no phone reception for the the big one.

Will still be there in sprit though.

Most. Am facing massive budget cuts until after my wedding next June.

Oh dear - you really think it is going to get easier after the wedding?

It's Debenhams on a Saturday afternoon for you my sonny :?

Hells no. Paying for the wedding is one thing. After that, she can sod off. She knows she plays second fiddle in my heart to Saints.

Will be in Andalucia in September and will miss Birmingham (H) but it's on the box anyway and hopefully someone in Orgiva will have Sky Sports... Though the current plan is to go and see Granada v Villarreal in La Liga which may be at the same sort of time.

I will be the bloke leaving Brighton at home about ten mins from time so I can get to London for Carter USM at Brixton.

And abandoning the family Christmas away to be back for Boxing Day.

I think that makes me a bad person....

Moving to uni in Kent so I'll be missing quite a few aways and a number of home games. Still have a season ticket though :)

Crikey, students are richer than my day!

Anyway, most of them as I live abroad but will be here for Leeds, Barnsley if I can get a ticket and the Boxing Day match if I come over by car, hire one or can get a lift from Maidenhead. I'd probably manage the Cup Final if we got to that and I'm assuming automatic promotion so no need to get to the play-offs (cough, cough).

I won't be at the forest home game because i'll be at a festival. Fortunately it's not that far away so i'll be able to pick up solent in my tent. at the moment the only away game before Xmas I'll miss is burnley.

So a nice list of what to burgle - hey ho

Yeah, all you need is to get a list of users and somehow find out their real names, home addresses and whether or not they live with anyone else, then match the names to the dates, take the gamble on them not having house-sitters or still being there, or having alarms on their property etc., and away you go.

I'm moving on Friday next week btw, so you can rule me out immediately. :D

All of them as I have packed up after more than 50 years. Refuse to be continually ripped off by the present executive.

Ohh FFS f*ck off. You had your time in the limelight. This was a good little read, now it is going to turn into a slag fest.

Dry your eyes mush, it's tedious now. Many of us have had to suck it up and you've just been to 'kin dumb or stubborn to move seats so it's your loss.

Same here, use to work nights but now work days but for same company. First time I won't have a season ticket for 20 years or so.

Kent! Any tips on how to get back to Southampton for less than £33 on the train?! Or know anyone that drives to home games? ;)

Lot's. I mechanic racing bikes so whichever ones clash with the start of the season and our end of season, along with the ones at the end of the footy season and the start of the racing next year so just go when I can. Missing Leeds for sure (But my team manager is a Leeds fan so hoping to get that on the telly).
