ecuk268 Posted 22 July, 2011 Share Posted 22 July, 2011 (edited) Bought an LG 37" last year. Pleased with it - good picture and loads of inputs (USB, ethernet etc). Comes with software to run on a PC so that it acts as a media server so you can watch films or look at your holiday pics. Or you can just stick them on a memory stick and plug it in. You can buy a dongle for wireless connection to your router but it's about £80. I just ran an ethernet cable. Also has NetCast which gives access to Youtube, Facebook, Google Maps, BBC iPlayer and other stuff. One drawback, and common to many flatscreens, is that the sound isn't brilliant. External speakers will fix that. Edited 22 July, 2011 by ecuk268
Lighthouse Posted 22 July, 2011 Share Posted 22 July, 2011 I've got a 47" in my living room and it's brilliant. You don't get the full picture from SD TV channels obviously, but when it comes to watching Blu-ray and playing games, it's great. Paper thin too. Think it's about 1cm deep. thesaint sfc Posted 25 July, 2011 Share Posted 25 July, 2011 I've got a 32" Samsung LED TV in my room - fantastic. I wouldn't ever contemplate buying anything else - except maybe a plasma.

thesaint sfc Posted 25 July, 2011 Share Posted 25 July, 2011 Get an argos card and you won't need to pay for it for 12 months. Or get it at richer sounds cheaper (probably)
