Maybe Puncheon was playing for a place in our squad? He knew the gaffer was watching and prob knows AOC will be gone by the end of the window. So it wouldnt be unusual to think he was putting in an effort for a shirt.

Much more likley its for a move elsewhere but worth a thought.

Final score 1-0?

I have a feeling winning the fans over could be an even bigger battle than wowing Adkin

The fans are a fickle lot. A succession of man of the match performances and they would mellow very quickly. But whether he has that in him remains to be seen. Not on the evidence I've seen from him so far.

Ben Reeves has got the most horrible boots I've ever seen. Purple, with orange laces and trim with a bright green flash. Urgh.

These are the leather adizero F50s

Though his were probably the synthetic Prime ones, which have more orange around the bottom

Either way, they should come with a target to stick on your back and a sign saying "I have no taste or fashion sense".

I am not a great fan of Puncheon but I have to say he was very supportive of the young players interacting with them on the same level. Not acting the big I am as I thought he might.

Well there's all ways the chance he isn't the C unt some on here like to paint him out to be...............thanks to the internet Puncheon has been given the role of satan incarnate based on a lot of rumours and pretty much zero facts. I'd have him back in the team if he and the club could sort out what ever problems they have.

Going back to the Totton game, thought our back four looked solid and the lad from Plymouth a particularly useful player

Shame the programme didnt show who was who

I worked out who all of the first half team were except for our number 7. Was surprised to see Harlee Dean playing CB because I thought he was a midfielder but he did a good job as did Racine who I think is a decent prospect.

As the subs started to mount up I had no idea who was on the pitch though!

Oh, and The9, yes they are the hideous boots Reeves was wearing.

The fans that slag off Puncheon are generally idiots and cannot spot a decent footballer when one is put in front of them. Put it this way I'd far rather he wasn't running AT Harding/Dickson next season because I'm pretty confident who'd come out on top of that battle - He's a quality player

He ocassionally puts in a good cross, goes in a good run but he's nothing special. Never going to be a Champions League winner.

And nor are we! We are going to be a Championship team next year though and he's easily good enough for that league as he's shown playing for Millwall and at a higher level for Blackpool
