that is very strange, would almost be understandable error if they had just given first few games, but the middle ones doesn't make any sense at all.

you should complain they might give you a free replica shirt as an apology

Might be a ploy to get everybody to visit the stadium to sort it out and collect lots more car parking charges. Or the new special offer buy 23 and lose 8 free

spot on. So the dodgy shell corporation hiding behind a dead man can launder more drug money on route to the far east.

Uh-oh!

Sounds like a bunch have gone out with the second installment section inside them as IIRC they siaid that the ST sent out immediately for installment payers contain the first 8 matches.

Just back from SMS. The girl at the ticket office said that some have gone out wrong. Swapped it over, no problem. No queue, so I avoided a nasty parking charge. NC will however be recieving a petrol bill.

Parasite. You're one of these people who just take-take-take aren't you?

:lol::lol::lol:

Saints' customer service at it's finest yet again!!

I await their response!!!!!!!

Just wonder how many have gone out incorrectly and how they are going to redress the situation. If they just re-send a new one out, then Cortese could well have more than 32 rogue tickets in circulation come October!!!!!!!!! So I presume the onus will be on us to travel up/down to SMS to sort out their clusterfccuk.

Haven't had mine yet, although paid for on day 1 of renewal and promised it would be posted, perhaps mine doesn't contain games 1 - 23, not worried yet as no doubt many to be sent out, but perhaps the postman will be sitting next to my mates next year.

although for those going on hols, any mistake could come as a shock when they get home with little time to get corrected before first game.

One poster has already said the club will sort it out no bother. Sure its a pain in the arse, but I'm sure we're all be there for game 1.

That said, the air will turn blue when I open mine up and discover they have given me a duff one.

Just out of curiosity, are these all renewal STs that have been botched?

Mine's a renewal.

I've now heard of others this has happened to. You can only imagine they've got piles of full STs and other part ones for the installment plan and someone's picked up the wrong box, they'll be stood out side the Head's office as we speak. Mr Cortese will see you now.

How many will have just "chucked it in the drawer" and only find out against Leeds? The club are going to have to contact everyone to check or it's going to be chaotic at the box office first game.

surely the OS should have something up about this problem by now to avoid the ticket office being faced with a barrage of abuse.

they'll blame some 3rd party as likely as not, or the fans themselves for harceling them into a rapid send out when all was not checked and double checked.Temporary staff and outside contractors eh!!!!!! Now if they'd sold STs at a reasonable period,ie in April or May they wouldn't be trying to rush them out 2 weeks from the first game;

Good old Saints! I'd advise people to be contacting mates etc, I have told a couple of mine to check their tickets as I know they don't check this website.

good point, with the school holidays starting this week, i know of friends and family personally who haven't received their's yet and are off on holiday in a few days time, which means it will leave them a couple of days to sort out before Leeds.

Bit of a mess the club should be putting that on the front page of it's website to alert fans and ask the echo to mention it

It looks like people who paid by installments have got full tickets, and those who paid up front have been given the 2nd part of the installment plan :)

I say bring back David Luker lol

I don't think it does. It looks like those who paid installments have got tickets 1-8 up front. Those who paid in full have received the rest of the tickets from those same ticket books.

Still a massive ****-up though.

So, nothing stopping the 'rogue element' that cancelled latter installments in previous years doing the same thing now if they have received a full book in error?

Bit of an own goal it would seem.

Out of curiosity, why the 'uneven' split? (i.e. 8 games in part 1 and 15 in the 2nd part)

Per my post above; it's the way the club are sending out season tickets paid in installments. Matches 1-8 are sent out (on the payment plan) with a 50% up front payment. Matches 9-23 only get sent out following 3 further payments in September, October and November. So there is no chance to abuse the system and be in posession of tickets you haven't yet paid for.

So the 1-8 tickets got ripped out of some ticket books and sent out, then someone mistakenly used those tickets books to send to people paying up front.

Sounds like there's no correlation to me. Pretty sure my "paid in full" ST has 1-23, some clearly don't have and they've sent the wrong ones out, but have we actually had an instalment payer get 1-23 yet ?

But are they "ripped out" ticket books ? Or are they "pre-printed" 1-8 books and pre-printed 9-23 ones ? Would probably cost more to do that so I'm guessing ripped out, but no-one's actually said that.

I'm not in posession of one, so I don't know. But it would make sense that the ticket wallet gets sent out with tickets 1-8 and all the promotional gubbins. Then just the 9-23 tickets are sent out in November. But that's just my guess, maybe someone who's paying by installments will be along to clarify it.

Don't forget that the ticket books are in no way linked to the "front page" ticket anyway, so they could be switched around at will if people had spare ticket books.

It's an incredibly inefficient system for preventing fraud - as I proved last season when I used my free U-8 ticket for 21 of the 23 matches whilst carrying my actual ST in my back pocket just as a little experiment. And of course no one could ever prove otherwise, as all you have to do is swap the front tickets around and the U-8 book is now the full adult one.

There's also nothing on the ST match voucher itself which identifies it back to the owner once it's been used, no barcode, no name or seat number on it, etc. In fact I'm not sure the club even counts them, I'd heard they're using the "STs sold in August" number plus the number of non-ST match ticket stubs, and that's common practice - though I don't actually know this is the case.

S, they are printed books that start at voucher 9, the first 8 have not been ripped out
