CLOTH EARS Posted 16 July, 2011 Share Posted 16 July, 2011 (edited) If any of you are coming to this game by car then i would just like to make you aware that there will be NO PARKING for spectators on the Stadium site. The best place to Park is on Calmore Industrial Estate which is adjascent to the T******d stadium. If you park on Calmore Industrial estate then you can either park on Brunel Road ( This is the main road that runs through the industrial estate ) or we (AFC Totton) have a deal with a company called Mansels to use their car park on match days. To get into their Car Park enter the Industrial estate and take the 1st right, then take the next right and you are in their car park. Once you have parked up on the industrial estate walk back to Calmore roundabout ( stay on the footpath on the right ) and once you get to the rounabout you will see a house on the right hand side, walk past the house and you will see an entrance onto a gravel footpath on the right, walk onto that footpath and keep to the left and this will take you to the turnstiles. AFC Tottons postcode is SO40 2RW for any of you with a Sat Nav who are not familiar with Totton. here is a link to the AFC Totton website ..........http://www.afctotton.com/index.php. Some usefull info. Admission prices are as follows £5 adults £3 Concessions and £6 for an adult with 1 child Turnstiles will be open at approx 6.15pm We will have 2 bars open for any spectators wanting a pint. We have 500 seats issued on a 1st come basis ( No extra charge for a seat ) 250 tip up seats and 250 bench seats. We have 2500 terrace spaces. ( 3000 capacity in total ) Totton will be wearing white shirts, navy shorts and white socks ( We copied saints in returning to an original kit for our 125th season) We normally wear Royal blue shirts, shorts and socks. Presumedly Saints will be wearing all black. PS If anybody decides to park anywhere else on Calmore Industrial estate other than in Mansels car park or on Brunel Rd PLEASE CHECK that there are no wheel clamping signs first. CLOTH EARS Posted 20 July, 2011 Author Share Posted 20 July, 2011 Gordon Simpson in todays Echo said that saints may well give a run out to Rickie Lambert and Adam Lallana tonight. That should add a few to the gate.

The Cat Posted 20 July, 2011 Share Posted 20 July, 2011 1-0 saints. Andy Robinson with a low 20 yarder. Keeper got a hand to it but it snuck in the corner. Harlee Dean playing CB. Almost 2-0, good save.

Fitzhugh Fella Posted 20 July, 2011 Share Posted 20 July, 2011 (edited) That was an enjoyable evening. Lovely little stadium that puts Eastleigh's in the shade. Proper terracing and a good looking pitch. Reasonable game of football until the many subs ruined the flow. I think I prefer Jack Stephens already to Frazer Richardson. He certainly distributed the ball with much more thought. I thought Saints the better side but Totton were only prevented an equaliser (assuming 1-0 was the final score) by the bravery of the Saints goalkeeper who had just came on. Thought Harlee Dean looked pretty solid too. Edited 20 July, 2011 by Fitzhugh Fella

Mind you he's so big he was stood near most people.
