Lardy? Grow up.

I must have dreamt up the fact he clearly looked bigger last season than the one before and moved considerably less aswell.

I forget how many times I amoungst others bemoaned the fact that when balls were played into good positions he was nowhere to be seen.

In fact you only have to look at the 2 goals from the Biel-Bienne game, meaningless friendly to be sure but Connolly is exactly where he should be to convert 2 easy headers(and I mean

a game of 28 easy headers) and Lambert isn't, the first one has gone over his head and the second one..well can't remember where he is but not where a dolly drop cross hits his head anyway. The fact that we are known to have offered a lot of money for Sharp means that the club know we have striking problems so I guess they just don't see Lambert as a

20 odd goal threat next season, maybe going to convert him to a free/playmaker role which I think he'd do exceptionally well.

Can't help but think that we'll bring in a young very quick striker from abroad for 2.5 - 3 million. We have enough experienced/older strikers and you'll get more talent for 3 million abroad than here.

Also expect to see a fairly experienced cb join.

Under 20s world cup starts in Colombia very shortly, that'll be the real cattle market of the summer, anyone useful and cheap will no doubt find himself with a decent contract by the end of it. All the old favourites will be down there with piles of standard contracts just ready to be signed on the dotted line, no doubt there will be plenty of agents as well to try and make a few bucks from them.

Marvin Sordell linked on football rumours....probably highly inaccurate...

Completely agree about getting a foreign lad in....£2-3 mill on the continent will get you a proven International striker from a top 50 in the world nation...whereas £3mill in England gets you Billy Sharp....enough said

Can't help hoping our much famed scouting network will turn up a couple of gems...i see no value in the domestic transfer scene right now...

But name calling is juvenile, especially to one of our best players.

Yes, he had a poor pre season last year and picked up a few knocks. Adkins sorted him out and the 2nd half of the season he was class.
