saint_stevo Posted 13 July, 2011 Posted 13 July, 2011 Saints 1st half team: Bialkowski. Richardson, Fonte, Martin, Reeves. Holmes, Schneiderlin, Chaplow, Lallana. Connolly, Lambert
saint_stevo Posted 13 July, 2011 Author Posted 13 July, 2011 Saints 2nd half team: Forecast. Butterfield, Jaidi, Seaborne, Dickson. Chamberlain, Hammond, Harding, Forte. Guly, Doble
Saint Fan CaM Posted 13 July, 2011 Posted 13 July, 2011 How do you know this? Are you there? If so, will you be providing up to the minute commentary? If not, I want my £5 back FFS.
Thedelldays Posted 13 July, 2011 Posted 13 July, 2011 but what does this mean... what about Cork...? has he not made friends...if we lose this what does that mean for our season..??
thornhill_saints Posted 13 July, 2011 Posted 13 July, 2011 How do you know this? Are you there? If so, will you be providing up to the minute commentary? If not, I want my £5 back FFS. Twitter Jordan Sibley
Saint Charlie Posted 13 July, 2011 Posted 13 July, 2011 I assume Cork is being left out because he has only just started training again - he was with the Eng U21's for ages after the end of the season.
benjii Posted 13 July, 2011 Posted 13 July, 2011 FFS. We are selling KD and Cork. My God!! Just when you think things are looking up. I am sooooooooo angry.
Saint Charlie Posted 13 July, 2011 Posted 13 July, 2011 Sibley: Barnard on bench, unlikely to be risked unless needed. Cork not quite up to speed fitness wise, Davis saved for Sat.

Saints foreva Posted 13 July, 2011 Posted 13 July, 2011 Holmes to get injured within the first 10 minutes.
Give it to Ron Posted 13 July, 2011 Posted 13 July, 2011 (edited) I dont think too much can be read into this...its just fitness. Edited 13 July, 2011 by Give it to Ron too many read Twitter
benjii Posted 13 July, 2011 Posted 13 July, 2011 I wonder if Chamberlain is playing centre mid in the second half. Looking at that list the most likely line-up seems to be: -------------------TF----------------------- DB----------RJ------------DS----------DanH Gult/AC----Guly/AC-----DeanH----------RD ------------Doble----------Johnno Quick I suppose another option is that Johnno Quick plays LM and RD plays central with Guly or AC upfront. Forecast. Butterfield, Jaidi, Seaborne, Dickson. Chamberlain, Hammond, Harding, Forte. Guly, Doble
benjii Posted 13 July, 2011 Posted 13 July, 2011 harding off then...ffs, what a joke What? Calm down, dear.
The Kraken Posted 13 July, 2011 Posted 13 July, 2011 harding off then...ffs, what a joke Yes. Apart from the fact that he's playing.
Minsk Posted 13 July, 2011 Posted 13 July, 2011 No Kelvin, no Barnard, no Cork........ having to play Harding in CM.......... our season is over..... FFS!!!!!
MongoNeil Posted 13 July, 2011 Posted 13 July, 2011 Can I be the first to say that this is a must win game and anything less will mean our season is over?

trousers Posted 13 July, 2011 Posted 13 July, 2011 What is Barnard at risk from that the others aren't?
benjii Posted 13 July, 2011 Posted 13 July, 2011 Can I be the first to say that this is a must win game and anything less will mean our season is over? I will certainly doubt our ability to hit the ground running if we don't at least get a draw.
Saint Charlie Posted 13 July, 2011 Posted 13 July, 2011 What is Barnard at risk from that the others aren't? He was injured at the end of last season. They will just want to ease him back.
Give it to Ron Posted 13 July, 2011 Posted 13 July, 2011 What is Barnard at risk from that the others aren't? Getting smacked by the ball and chain round his ankle
Saint Charlie Posted 13 July, 2011 Posted 13 July, 2011 The first half team would beat the 2nd half one. 2nd half has more experienced defence but the 1st half has a quality front 5 and Holmes.
Crazy Diamond Posted 13 July, 2011 Posted 13 July, 2011 Looking forward to hearing about Ben Reeves. Not a prospect I've heard an awful lot about, sounds like he's being tested with a view to a place in the squad for this season. Not so excited about Forecast.
Verbal Posted 13 July, 2011 Posted 13 July, 2011 What is Barnard at risk from that the others aren't? A jury verdict.
The Kraken Posted 13 July, 2011 Posted 13 July, 2011 The first half team would beat the 2nd half one. 2nd half has more experienced defence but the 1st half has a quality front 5 and Holmes. The second team has Tommy Four-past in goal, who at times struggles to out-perform a traffic cone. No contest.

saintjay77 Posted 13 July, 2011 Posted 13 July, 2011 Mills? Anybody know? Didn't travel to Switzerland according to his twitter today. I am hoping reeves and doble do well. The latter must be wondering if he has a future with us or not. Always been an almost there IMO. Surprised forecast traveled at all. Let alone get a run out. Maybe there is a scout watching tonight looking for a tall player that wears gloves?
Matthew Le God Posted 13 July, 2011 Posted 13 July, 2011 Saints winning 1-0 - 9 mins David Connolly header at the back post from a Lee Holmes cross

Colinjb Posted 13 July, 2011 Posted 13 July, 2011 Fantastic! Football's coming home, it's coming home, it's coming home...... etc. I've missed this.
Saint_lambden Posted 13 July, 2011 Posted 13 July, 2011 How bad does the defender have to be for David Connolly to win a header?!
NickG Posted 13 July, 2011 Posted 13 July, 2011 How bad does the defender have to be for David Connolly to win a header?! quality cross from holmes!
Crazy Diamond Posted 13 July, 2011 Posted 13 July, 2011 quality cross from holmes! I'm hearing he's just injured himself in doing so and will be out for the season. (Jokes)
