Pre-Seaon Prep?

Too heavy fitness training makes the players tired and their muscles fatigued. A good pre-season needs the right balance of work and rest. Too much work and the players come out flagging. Not enough work and they come back out of shape and looking like they haven't kicked a ball all summer.

There's not much to talk about at the moment is there.

No this is true but I think it would be interesting to know how different this seasons pre season is to last years. What are the player doing that they did last year and what aren't they doing? Hopefully not jumping off that bridge again that's for sure ;)

was'nt the weather baking hot as well last year? I seem to remember the players being exhausted with the amount of training they were doing in 30+ degrees.

The weather now is about 20, and will be all week.

Far too much technical sports science in this for me, well above my head, but I'm sure the training staff will appreciate the advice.
