trousers Posted 11 July, 2011 Share Posted 11 July, 2011 http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2390417,00.html " Saints will unveil a stunning new suite at St. Mary's in time for the Memorial Cup on Saturday 23rd July. Fittingly titled 'The Markus Liebherr Lounge' in honour of the club's late owner, this stylish and modern function room will house the finest range of hospitality services at Saints and become the blueprint for all future matchday ranges. The room itself has been completely refurbished to include amongst others, floor to ceiling windows, and state of the art plasma screens to enhance your viewing pleasure, making it the first fully transformed area inside St. Mary's since the stadium opened in 2001. " Is this a conversion of the existing hospitality area or a new area altogether?

The Kraken Posted 11 July, 2011 Share Posted 11 July, 2011 Is this a conversion of the existing hospitality area or a new area altogether? There's a capacity of 150, so I'm going to guess its the old Terry Paine Ambassadors' Suite.
Saint 76er Posted 11 July, 2011 Share Posted 11 July, 2011 Could be seen as an indicator of the Liebherr family's continued commitment perhaps? Hardly likely to be doing this if NC expects the family to sell out any time soon. Also the Swiss trip, once again, is presumably to give the owners an opportunity to see their investment in their own back yard so to speak. All of this would appear to indicate continuing good relations between NC and the Liebherrs and hopefully family members will be over to see the memorial cup and inspect the new facility. Meaningful tributes to Markus are now starting to come forth, which is what most Saints fans have been wanting and a club bond with his family members may well be strengthening. benjii Posted 11 July, 2011 Share Posted 11 July, 2011 Almost seems good value at £90 Yep, given it's a long day and there will be a lot of empty time to kill it's not a bad shout at all.

benjii Posted 11 July, 2011 Share Posted 11 July, 2011 ffs... are the club trying to force us all out.. I remember when I used to go back in the 20s, you used to get in with an under 5s ticket, got a free bottle of Mann's from Doris at the mead counter and a cheeky tug from the fat lass who served the pies at half time. saintjay77 Posted 11 July, 2011 Share Posted 11 July, 2011 Sounds good. Wonder if the logo has any reflection on the new kit? Free food but not a free bar. Seems like a good deal. Wonder who the speakers might be? Also it mentions the Mathew le tissier suite can take any excess. Was that a suite that was there already or have Matt and NC kissed and made up? pap Posted 11 July, 2011 Share Posted 11 July, 2011 If that is true, I predict roughly 20 posts on how Cortese is taking a large dump over MLT.
Dimond Geezer Posted 11 July, 2011 Share Posted 11 July, 2011 a friend was working on it and told me it was replacing the le tiss suite It would seem not, the OS link said any overflow would be catered for in the MLT suite.
krissyboy31 Posted 11 July, 2011 Share Posted 11 July, 2011 a friend was working on it and told me it was replacing the le tiss suite He told you rubbish then. Read the report! The MLT suite is taking the overflow!

up and away Posted 11 July, 2011 Share Posted 11 July, 2011 Normally don't have a great deal of interest in these pre-season games, but for some reason this 3 way match has really caught my interest. On the advice from others we have gone for the ML suite with the seating seemingly allowing you to get in and amongst it all. Really like the idea of this day out, just hope it lives up to expectation.

Ohio Saint Posted 12 July, 2011 Share Posted 12 July, 2011 Sorry can you just clarify? Did you get the tug at half time..if so when did she sell the pies? I was more interested to know if she washed her hands. I wouldn't want any pie on my winky.
Pedro Posted 18 July, 2011 Share Posted 18 July, 2011 There's a capacity of 150, so I'm going to guess its the old Terry Paine Ambassadors' Suite. Note that the West Brom hospitality is being being hosted by Terry Paine in the Terry Paine Suite.
