pedg Posted 10 July, 2011 Share Posted 10 July, 2011 You keep thinking that, but Murdoch KNOWS differently and that is why he has built up his empire so succesfully - he is in tune with the public mood. That said maybe he's losing that instinct a bit by keeping the ginger bint on. BTW is she a real ginger? I'm sure I saw brown roots. Oh yes he really is on the ball is Murdoch. Remind me exactly how much he lost by buying Myspace? Anyway his main ability appears to be to see which way the ball is rolling, jump on the bandwagon showing no loyalty to who he may have supported before and then claim he was solely responsible for them winning. Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 10 July, 2011 Share Posted 10 July, 2011 Good. The NOWT was a brilliant paper for sport (as is the sun). Most people would be lost without a replacement. Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 10 July, 2011 Share Posted 10 July, 2011 Those gloating abiut the innocent and talented NOTW journos losing their jobs because they print the unemployed get free hiuses and £50k in benefits.... When did the NOTW ever say that or anything close to that? Your confusing the NOTW with the Mail/ Exp (who to be fair always source and interview the claims), but then you probably don't read it but still have an opinion on it eh? Personally I love the fact it will sell 4.5m copies today (4.1m more than the Observer today and 4m more than the guardian tomorrow). This proves how thick people are in this country. If you're conservative in your views then why not read The Times or the The Telegraph? Newspapers with a reading age of TEN YEARS OLD such as The Sun and NOTW (which is thankfully off the shelves as of tomorrow) should be curtailed. Today heralds the second nail in the coffin of "Operation Dumbing Down" of British society: the first being the axing of Big Brother. My biggest concern with the passing of the NOWT to be replaced by The Sun on Sunday is that the mondays edition of The Sun (great for footie write ups) will be a carbon copy of Sundays edition. The passing of the NOWT is a real loss and I only hope that a new brand is launched separate from the Sun. The fuddy duddy Guardian reader types can all gloat but what cannot be disputed is that both papers we No. 1 when it came to sales. Both papers delivered what people wanted. What is this News Of World The?
