Jason Puncheon Wants to move down the M27

Secret Site Agent

Apparently Jason Puncheon, according to my HP, want to move to Pumpy.

Just to kick us in the nuts a bit more no doubt.

Or it's his agent stiurring the brown stuff as well, (to force us to keep him, as no one else wants him, as iif NC and NA are that petty.)

Wouldn't wish Puncheon on my worst enemy, but the cheating blue few down the road? Willingly.

Thoughts here please.

Nugent signed for Leicester last week, and I didn't know because I am a doughnut and need shooting with a ball of my own ****

Punchon is a really talented player when he wants to be, but he will always be a journey man and have the odd couple of months of success here and there in his career.

Rumours are that he doesn't want to go back to Blackpool as he couldn't settle there. He couldn't settle at Plymouth either, or here by the sounds of it. What is up with him? bit of a mentalist if you ask me.

Good player and could do damage next year, but not the kind of character that we want here. Although I would rather he didnt sign for the skates because you just know he'd score a last minute winner against us !

He is. Very prone to going off the rails and certainly a trouble maker by all accounts. The sooner we can ship him out the better.

Stories I heard about his time at Plymouth were that he was unhappy being so far from London and, when he moved here, he thought he'd be happier being closer. Apparently not. Doubt a few miles up the M27 will make much difference. Swap him for Henry at Millwall and I'm sure we'd both be happy.

I was speaking to Steve Cotterill yesterday and he said an enquiry had come in about Puncheon from his agent but there was nothing more than that. I said echo was reporting interest and SC seemed surprised that the echo had a story. He also said Punch and Haydn Mullins were mates and had the same agent so JP has friends there. I said to SC that JP seemed surplus and bridges had been burned at St Marys and he referred to him as a "young boy" and also a decent player so the interest could certainly be real but no more than that was said so he wasn't giving much away really.

Hope you called him a "skate ****". If not, you have no place on this forum.

I said to him "You dirty skate b*****d, were coming for you" ;-)

To be fair, he was quite pleasant given he knew I was a Saints fan and was happy to chat for a few minutes about JP etc. Nothing like he comes across in media.

He'll be no happier at Pompey IMO. He's one of those people that has a nosebleed if he goes outside of the M25 - Millwall and a swap for Henry with us paying a bit of an adjustment would be ideal. Palace have just signed someone from Fulham so not sure if they'd go for him or if wages would be an issue. The other place might be West Ham - Big Sam has always had a track record out of getting the best out of allegedly difficult players and if he liked JP sufficiently who knows? He got the best out of Diouf even!

Peltier, Danns, Schmeichel, St Ledger, Nugent and an offer for Matt Mills accepted by Reading too...

The thing for me is that I don't actually mind Puncheon when he does do well for us but he can be v frustrating at times as well so there's bits of me that want him to stay a Saint and bits of me that want to see him leave and find another club But especially not the club down the road in the SK8S as had someone on here said that it would be v annoying if he did go there and did score for them against us next season but we'l see!

COYR!!!

Ahh right.

Well, I fully predict some imbecile slags off KD for no reason at some point.

fella two seats to the right of me spent all season doing it so that point will be about 5 minutes into the first game. Each to their own. I've had enough though and am moving seats.

Yeh I hate that too Chez Mate so I don't blame you moving to a new seat and you moving to the Northam yeah because that's where I am or were you in the Northam already Mate!?!

Is your HP the article in The News?

No, I was given this on Tuesday afternoon in a quick snippit and more yesterday as I was in the Hillhead area doing a site survey, but I couldn't log on until now to pass the information. My source is one of very few snippets but he hasn't been wrong as yet, just a littkle slow off the mark sometimes as he panicks that he may get into trouble.

out of interest, why the bad feeling against Puncheon?

Because it had a few bad games and got booed, and instead of taking it like a man and improving his performance, he sulked like a little girl and and made it clear he wanted to get out at the first opportunity.

As the excellent League 1 Minus 10 blog put it in the season round-up: http://leagueoneminus10.blogspot.com/

JASON PUNCHEON started the season on the right wing and was simply dreadful. Looked unfit and looked like he didn’t care. He missed open goal after open goal and then got annoyed when the crowd got fed up with it. Virtually the first act when Nigel Adkins came into the building (oh yes) was to set Jason some KPIs and these were “shoot in the general direction of the ****ing goal occasionally” and “stop being a sulky ****”. Having failed on both scores, he was dropped in favour of an only-just-17 year old and he threw his toys out and got loaned out to Millwall where bizarrely, he banged in a few goals. A brief return to us followed which included a decent game in the FA Cup v Blackpool who then signed him for the remainder of their Premier League campaign where he has again done ok. Technically still our player but we won’t see him back here as long as he has a hole in his ass. Not happy with being a squad player and in all likelihood, a dissenting voice to Nigel’s plan of squad unity so bye.... and rightly so. It would be the best outcome all round if we got rid of him and anything over £400k would represent good business for the club.

- His inconsistency on the pitch

- His lack of work ethic on the pitch

- His selfishness on the pitch

- His lack of vision on the pitch

- His obviously poor attitude

- His disruptive influence on the players (he's training with the U16's at the moment)

- The fact that he wore jeans to Markus' memorial service.

Mmmkay?

Not a fact at all. Seems to be a myth that has built as to what he wore that day and used against his character.

You can criticise Puncheon for a lot of things, but for the service he wore black shoes, black office trousers and a black shirt (without a tie). Not as smart as the other 1st team players, but still "smart".
