jawillwill Posted 6 July, 2011 Share Posted 6 July, 2011 Newquay is, by far, the most horrible place in Cornwall. Especially in summer. IMO.
sambosa75 Posted 6 July, 2011 Share Posted 6 July, 2011 Newquay is, by far, the most horrible place in Cornwall. Especially in summer. IMO. Because its busy. Ideal for a stag do wouldnt you say? Bertie's is the place. I got a 100% pulling record in there which is no mean feat considering the state of my boat race. Sailors is okay but gets very busy. Tall Trees is like a converted working mens club but an absolute grotfest too.
Andy_Porter Posted 6 July, 2011 Share Posted 6 July, 2011 Can't go wrong anywhere really. Cental is decent for a few beers early on, Sailors is quality, even the Walkabouts is half decent.

StDunko Posted 6 July, 2011 Share Posted 6 July, 2011 Dirty Berties Went in there early one night to find a group of reasonably attractive girls on a hen night, they all took their knickers off, then put them over their heads and wore them as necklaces. Classy place.

BadgerBadger Posted 12 July, 2011 Share Posted 12 July, 2011 Some cracking nights were had in Sailors and Tall Trees in the 90's, then waking up in some strange places, the golf course too many times..........
Saint Mikey Posted 13 July, 2011 Author Share Posted 13 July, 2011 Hmmmm. Well. Not great I'd say. OK for what it is, went to quite a few places. Went to Sailors which I thought was awful, like Martines used to be in Eastleigh only bigger. Roof terrace was good though. Various sh!te bars around the place and one decent place called Red Square that was banging out D'n'B on Sat night. During the day the Great Western Hotel was a great place to sit and have some beers, a fantastic view of the cliffs. All in all though a bit of a sh!thole, but as a Stag destination not bad. Wouldn't f*cking camp again though, that was a bad idea - zero kip.
sambosa75 Posted 13 July, 2011 Share Posted 13 July, 2011 Sunnyside was amazing, can't believe they got rid of that place Indeed it was. Only time I have ever woke up half way through the night to find myself being noshed off by some bird I'd never even met before. Happy memories.
