I was under the impression that it was being done this summer but haven't seen anything...would drive down but live in Devon now so a bit of a trek!!

djharvey Posted 6 July, 2011 Posted 6 July, 2011 Drove past a few weeks ago and could see that there's a substantial temporary set-up in place. Couldn't see if any actual work had started on the old building though. I'm sure they would want to make sure everything is fully satisfactory and operational in the temporary set-up before they actually knock the old building down. Would also bet that it will be anounced on the official site when the demolition actually starts. These temporary set-ups actually cost a fair few quid themselves. Actually managed the build of a temporary project office set-up for a major construction project myself and if i remember correctly the initial build cost was about £200,000. and i bet that wouldn't of had half the requirments of the staplewood set-up.
