SO16_Saint Posted 4 July, 2011 Posted 4 July, 2011 Anyone know what it'll cost to plaster a ceiling and remove a dado rail and patch up and plaster one wall (with a 6ft window)? If anyone does this and can quote it'll be much appreciated.
the stain Posted 4 July, 2011 Posted 4 July, 2011 Junction 9 knows about this sort of thing - worth dropping him a PM.

Macey_J2 Posted 5 July, 2011 Posted 5 July, 2011 I know a decent plasterer, Sam Pearce, give him a call on 07966 119 229. He should be able to help. Tell him you got his number from Joe
John Boy Saint Posted 5 July, 2011 Posted 5 July, 2011 We just had 7 ceilings and a whole heap of pipe and wiring chases done, Coving put up in 2 rooms. The finish was exceptional, in fact the ceilings were so good it hurt to see the Missus rollering emulsion over them. Cost us £1300+/- total, and to be honest if I paid over the odds C'est la vie as far as we are concerned for the total "experience" from beginning to end it was money well spent.
Block 18 Posted 6 July, 2011 Posted 6 July, 2011 Is Junction 9 a plasterer? No he's a plumber, but i guess it begins with a P so its close
sotonjoe Posted 6 July, 2011 Posted 6 July, 2011 You'll get a hilariously wide range of quotes. Don't spend more than £200.
egg Posted 6 July, 2011 Posted 6 July, 2011 Should get someone decent for 150 to 180 a day including the plaster. I've used several for various developments. Pm me if you want names and numbers.
