As a psychiatrist, it is my professional opinion that the majority of these regular posters should be sectioned under the Mental Health Act. Some mentallist, that's for sure.

Super_Saint Posted 3 July, 2011 Posted 3 July, 2011 What poster ticks most of these boxes, I'm sure someone on here comes close to saying all of that.
Verbal Posted 3 July, 2011 Posted 3 July, 2011 What poster ticks most of these boxes, I'm sure someone on here comes close to saying all of that. turkdellhypobajii. (plus that bloke who's named himself after the leader of the BNP and suffers from premature enumeration.)
Leslie Charteris Posted 3 July, 2011 Posted 3 July, 2011 Adolf Hitler. No that's you, that is... Dissociative identity disorder sufferer!
dune Posted 3 July, 2011 Posted 3 July, 2011 No that's you, that is... Dissociative identity disorder sufferer! Let's not be personal. It was just the first name that came into my head.
Fan The Flames Posted 3 July, 2011 Posted 3 July, 2011 It has to be the bloke from the tellybox that says 'I don't believe it'.
Leslie Charteris Posted 3 July, 2011 Posted 3 July, 2011 Let's not be personal. It was just the first name that came into my head. It wasn't me that posted that, it was Jeffrey. (He's the violent one...)

Turkish Posted 3 July, 2011 Posted 3 July, 2011 A contestant on the apprentice. Deluded and mental to an unbelievable level.
Verbal Posted 3 July, 2011 Posted 3 July, 2011 A contestant on the apprentice. Deluded and mental to an unbelievable level. I've had the misfortune to work with one of those. For once, you're right.
PaulSaint Posted 3 July, 2011 Posted 3 July, 2011 When I start out at the menu its nice & cuddly "Terry Wogan", then I click "The Saints" and it instantly morphs into "Jeremy Kyle" (eek).
Verbal Posted 3 July, 2011 Posted 3 July, 2011 When I start out at the menu its nice & cuddly "Terry Wogan", then I click "The Saints" and it instantly morphs into "Jeremy Kyle" (eek). Pretty accurate, this - except that the menu is like all the repeats you see in an ITV schedule. Nothing seems to change much, and all looks fairly bland. Then you enter the twilight zone of a thread full, apparently, of 'mongs', 'princesses', ***ts', etc, etc, ad nauseum. I'm all for insults, but can't they be a bit more imaginative and entertaining than this?
Fowllyd Posted 4 July, 2011 Posted 4 July, 2011 If Saintsweb were a person? Rule One. Nice to see the subjunctive there.
Spudders Posted 4 July, 2011 Posted 4 July, 2011 It's "Deakin", you Joey. Um, what? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joey_Deacon
miserableoldgit Posted 4 July, 2011 Posted 4 July, 2011 Bernardo O'Higgins - President of Chile 1817 to 1823
The9 Posted 4 July, 2011 Posted 4 July, 2011 Really, it is Deakin. Just because everyone gets his name wrong (including that bastion of fact, Wikipedia) doesn't mean his name was actually Deacon. It was Deakin.

I'll get on to Amazon now about their mispelling of his surname for his 1974 book http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tongue-Subnormality-seventies-Joseph-Deacon/dp/0855370173/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1309778611&sr=8-1

Well, he's hardly going to have corrected them is he ? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Joey-Joseph-John-Deacon/dp/0684144743/ref=ntt_at_ep_dpi_1 Ok, it appears my 7 year old brain was corrupted by teacher talk and apparently he is called Deacon after all - but I'm not the only one, there are quite a few "isn't he called Deakin" threads out there too. For those keeping count, this is about the second time I've ever admitted to being wrong, so you may wish to Golden Thread this one...
trousers Posted 4 July, 2011 Posted 4 July, 2011 I'm not the only one, there are quite a few "isn't he called Deakin" threads out there too. Source / Links? (thanks)
The9 Posted 4 July, 2011 Posted 4 July, 2011 Source / Links? (thanks) Just google "Joey Deakin" and ignore the "did you mean Deacon" stuff. It took me seeing Sue Lawley on YouTube and a clip of the front of his book to convert me. I'd always thought it was the school yard thing "Deacon - no it's Deakin - but everyone calls him Deacon anyway because we're all 7 and it's funnier".
