Thedelldays Posted 2 July, 2011 Posted 2 July, 2011 I am thinking of renting my flat out....apart from leaving my lush leather sofa...and keeping my big TV, PS3 etc..what is the best way to get rid of all my furniture...? thanks my fellow rabid right wing friends..
OldNick Posted 2 July, 2011 Posted 2 July, 2011 it depends on what quality and condition the items are. If they are worn and tired you will have trouble and charity is your best bet. If you have a second hand shop close by and you can get them to offer, my advice would be take the money. If you value your time the extra you may get a little more by trawling the stuff around, but it may not be worth it. Especially if you need to rent a van. There is the E-Bay or Preloved route but you wont get rid of it all. The other option is to call a local auctioneer, they will take most things although there are costs.
Thedelldays Posted 2 July, 2011 Author Posted 2 July, 2011 I was think more of my wardrobe...bit treble wardrobe thingy that will never be put back together if taken apart etc...my guess is getting a skip...but not sure

If that is all it would be cheaper to pay someone to take it away, a skip will cost quite a bit
Jonnyboy Posted 2 July, 2011 Posted 2 July, 2011 Go on your local freecycle website an offer it on there. Someone who needs a free wardrobe will happily take it apart and take it away Im sure.
