norwaysaint Posted 16 July, 2011 Share Posted 16 July, 2011 EDL reckon there will be 1,500 there. Based on the combination of their previous miscalculated estimates and their poor numeracy skills, what do we reckon the actual number attending will be? My guess is 57 (although the EDL will still report this as 1,500). I think you know that's rubbish. There were well over 2,000 EDL in Luton and there's expected to be more for the next major demo in Tower Hamlets. That can only end well.. Seeing as it's supposed to be the 'Islamic heartland of Britain.' Turns out it was closer to 57. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hampshire-14174669
1976_Child Posted 17 July, 2011 Share Posted 17 July, 2011 The fact is there are too many of these third worlders in our country. The sooner they all get on the boat and pess off the better. Then we can populate Pompey with decent folk from Pakistan and Bangladesh who know how to run businesses and look after their families and instill decent morals in their kids. anothersaintinsouthsea Posted 17 July, 2011 Share Posted 17 July, 2011 What a brilliant turnout. It puts Southampton to shame. Wow, 500 EDL protesters, no doubt plenty of those came from outside of the city. Ten times that amount attended the Slutwalk in London, the days of the EDL being anything more than a bunch of low-IQ racists beyond the fringe of relevance is a long, long way off. GenevaSaint Posted 18 July, 2011 Share Posted 18 July, 2011 There should be NO state religious schools. You are comfortable with purely Islamic, Sikh, Hindi, Jewish and Christian schools? Are you comfortable with single sex Muslim schools funded via Saudi money? or with Christian schools teaching creationism? Catholic schools rammed full of Polish kids taught about contraception by Irish nuns? These schools do not promote inclusion and a balanced education. Well, I'm more than happy with the Catholic school all of my children have attended and the senior school my 2 girls currently go to. They're well rounded kids who get to learn right from wrong, a good work ethos, are inclusive and know far more about other religions than I did at their age. And while we're at it the secondary school has a large proportion of sikh children attending.

dune Posted 18 July, 2011 Share Posted 18 July, 2011 (edited) of course he is its a exciting trip out for some of the chavs lol Personally I think anyone that makes the effort and stands by their convictions should be aplauded. Today my 76 year old mother suffered an attempted robbery in the street by two eastern europeans. One woman pushed into her while the other went into her shopping trolley taking her purse. Luckily she looked round and knew what they were at by which time an innocent shopper had arrived unaware of what was occuring. The foreign woman dropped mums purse in the gutter and the lady who'd come to help thought it was the foreign womans purse. They both ran off and left mum very shaken. As far as i'm concerned i'd buy any edl member a pint. At least they are getting off their arses and demonstrating against the failed multicultural experiment. And before you all get on your high horses it's perfectly acceptable to say that multiculturalism is a failed policy. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-12371994 Edited 18 July, 2011 by dune

That fact is that multiculturalism is a failed policy. When you've got thousands of eastern europeans flooding in and not enough work to go around the resulting statistic is clearly going to be more examples of pensioners mugged in the street. I wouldn't expect the likes of you to care about this.

It is the facts of what happened. You might not like it, but there has been a spate of it in my local area. It's eastern europeans who've come from Peterborough or Leicester to target pensioners. The policeman she spoke to said this and went on to say that they specificaly do it on pension day. They loiter outside the GPO and follow them around the shops after they've picked up their pensions.

I would imagine the date chosen for the march (a couple of hours before kick-off at fartton) was to coincide with the visit of Chelsea to the town. As they have strong links to extreme rightwing groups, it would have been a great opportunity to swell numbers, probably doubled.
