Glasgow_Saint Posted 1 July, 2011 Posted 1 July, 2011 Nadal is carrying an injury - Murray is carrying the hope of a nation! easy money? we shall see.................
dune Posted 1 July, 2011 Author Posted 1 July, 2011 Nadal is carrying an injury - Murray is carrying the hope of a nation! easy money? we shall see................. I'm English so not my nation. I hope he loses.
hypochondriac Posted 1 July, 2011 Posted 1 July, 2011 I'm English so not my nation. I hope he loses. Agree with that! Never liked him or his negative style of play. Hope he gets pounded.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 1 July, 2011 Posted 1 July, 2011 I'm English so not my nation. I hope he loses. This. So you're both "English", so would prefer someone Spanish to win over someone British?
hypochondriac Posted 1 July, 2011 Posted 1 July, 2011 So you're both "English", so would prefer someone Spanish to win over someone British? I dislike his attitude and style of play. On top of that he also insulted England and he considers himself Scottish not British.
JackFrost Posted 1 July, 2011 Posted 1 July, 2011 + 1 +2 Why the BBC constantly show slow-mos of his ugly expressions between points I don't know, it's absolutely nauseating. Also when she's celebrating him winning a point Murray's mum has the most evil face I've ever seen
Griffo Posted 1 July, 2011 Posted 1 July, 2011 So you're both "English", so would prefer someone Spanish to win over someone British? I'm English. Scotland and Spain are both two completely different countries, which have nothing to do with me or England.
dune Posted 1 July, 2011 Author Posted 1 July, 2011 Oh dear, Nadal is perfectly fit and the scottish bloke is injured. Shame.
Turkish Posted 1 July, 2011 Posted 1 July, 2011 So you're both "English", so would prefer someone Spanish to win over someone British? Yep.
Turkish Posted 1 July, 2011 Posted 1 July, 2011 Does anyone actually want Murray to win? I appreciate your usual suspects like BTF and everyone else that loves faliures will, but what about people that actually know about sport?
hypochondriac Posted 1 July, 2011 Posted 1 July, 2011 Yep. Nadal is the better player. I prefer federer and djokovic but I hugely prefer nadal to the dross that Murray serves up the majority of the time.
Turkish Posted 1 July, 2011 Posted 1 July, 2011 Oh dear, Nadal is perfectly fit and the scottish bloke is injured. Shame. Gives all the Murray loves an excuse though doesn't it. Just like the laughable one on the Wimbledon thread that he hasn't won anything because he's been unlucky and is playing at a time when there are better players than him about.
Turkish Posted 1 July, 2011 Posted 1 July, 2011 Nadal is the better player. I prefer federer and djokovic but I hugely prefer nadal to the dross that Murray serves up the majority of the time. I dont really like Tennis, it's a game played by ****s, but Nadal is better to watch and also is quite good looking.
hypochondriac Posted 1 July, 2011 Posted 1 July, 2011 I dont really like Tennis, it's a game played by ****s, but Nadal is better to watch and also is quite good looking. Bit too much of a greasy spaniard for my liking.
hypochondriac Posted 1 July, 2011 Posted 1 July, 2011 Nadal will win. If not, djokovic will win in the final.
dune Posted 1 July, 2011 Author Posted 1 July, 2011 Why does the camera keep showing that ugly lesbian with scottish flags poking out of ears?
the stain Posted 1 July, 2011 Posted 1 July, 2011 Nadal will win. If not, djokovic will win in the final. Make your mind up. Will Nadal win or not? Perhaps you should see if a bookies will take your bet that "Nadal will win but he might not"?
dune Posted 1 July, 2011 Author Posted 1 July, 2011 Oh dear, Nadal has broken the scottish blokes serve. And it all went quiet on murray mount.
hypochondriac Posted 1 July, 2011 Posted 1 July, 2011 Make your mind up. Will Nadal win or not? Perhaps you should see if a bookies will take your bet that "Nadal will win but he might not"? I confidently predict that nadal will win. There is however a chance that I am wrong, in which case djokovic will win the final. There is no contradiction.
Nellie Posted 1 July, 2011 Posted 1 July, 2011 Nadal will win. If not, djokovic will win in the final. I confidently predict that nadal will win. There is however a chance that I am wrong, in which case djokovic will win the final. There is no contradiction. Er, wrong Mr Thicko. You made a statement of fact, not an expression of an opinion or prediction. Perhaps you should have another try, as you clearly haven't a clue. Murray needs to play the tennis he was in the first set to stand a chance here.
hypochondriac Posted 1 July, 2011 Posted 1 July, 2011 Er, wrong Mr Thicko. You made a statement of fact, not an expression of an opinion or prediction. Perhaps you should have another try, as you clearly haven't a clue. Murray needs to play the tennis he was in the first set to stand a chance here. Quite clearly it is a prediction, unless you are suggesting that I can tell the future? It's entirely possible that nadal could retire through injury an thus it is not a fact that he will win. I'm not the one being thick.
The Cat Posted 1 July, 2011 Posted 1 July, 2011 Murray's ballsed this up from a good position. He had Nadal a bit flustered until missing an easy smash in the middle of the second set which would have given him 2 break points. I don't quite get the hate for Murray. The whole wanting England to lose thing was no different to the Adkins Brighton comment. A tongue in cheek throwaway remark. And even if he did mean it, so what? How many English people ever want Scotland to win?
Nellie Posted 1 July, 2011 Posted 1 July, 2011 I'm not the one being thick. Yes, I'm afraid you are. There are plenty of ways to express an opinion or prediction, none of which you chose to use. Quite clearly it is a prediction, unless you are suggesting that I can tell the future? I'm not suggesting for one minute that you can predict the future; I'm suggesting you are a pompous, sanctimonious, fool who believes he knows everything. If you genuinely can't see the inherent arrogance in stating your opinion as fact, which is what you did, then you are more stupid than I originally thought. It's right there on your screen.
mcjwills Posted 1 July, 2011 Posted 1 July, 2011 as always British if he wins and Scottish if he loses, looks like he Scottish again

It's a prediction on the tennis thread. Never seen you on here but you seem a but angry and like you are takin things too seriously. Calm down.
Barney Trubble Posted 1 July, 2011 Posted 1 July, 2011 Oh dear, Nadal is perfectly fit and the scottish bloke is injured. Shame. He should go on that embarrassing illnesses programme as he has an illness/injury but it only happens when he's losing. I can just imagine all the Scots cheering on an Englishman.......actually, I can't. I do want him to win though, as i'm getting bored of Nadal in the finals......come on Tim!!!!! oh, sorry.
dune Posted 1 July, 2011 Author Posted 1 July, 2011 I don't quite get the hate for Murray. Murray, in his early days (before he realised the money to be made from English tennis fans) said he always hoped England lost in sporting events. I remember this and am now enjoying seeing him lose.
dune Posted 1 July, 2011 Author Posted 1 July, 2011 Why you should hate Murray... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/5128028.stm
dune Posted 1 July, 2011 Author Posted 1 July, 2011 And I hate him even more for being a drip that doesn't stand by his opinions.
Barry the Badger Posted 1 July, 2011 Posted 1 July, 2011 I miss Tim Henman. At least when he lost every year he did so in an interesting way.
Baj Posted 1 July, 2011 Posted 1 July, 2011 Murray, in his early days (before he realised the money to be made from English tennis fans) said he always hoped England lost in sporting events. I remember this and am now enjoying seeing him lose. Oh dont spout ****. That's the kind of repeated lie that makes what he said way worse. He doesnt 'always hope england lose at sporting events', he made one comment, once, when asked about the world cup, that was it, and hes said plenty of times since it was tongue in cheek.
dune Posted 1 July, 2011 Author Posted 1 July, 2011 Oh dont spout ****. That's the kind of repeated lie that makes what he said way worse. He doesnt 'always hope england lose at sporting events', he made one comment, once, when asked about the world cup, that was it, and hes said plenty of times since it was tongue in cheek. I'm sorry your bajesty, i was speaking from recollection, and yes you are right it was about the world cup. That all changes nothing. He's still a ****. Even if you don't think the original comment was good enough reason to hate him, the fact he then failed to stand by his honest opinion makes him an indisputeable ****. Anyone that waivers from their beliefs is a ****.
Jonnyboy Posted 1 July, 2011 Posted 1 July, 2011 Are the Scottish already on that list of people Duhne hates for no reason?
Barry the Badger Posted 1 July, 2011 Posted 1 July, 2011 Anybody that Dune hates -I like Has Andy Murray come out and said he hates Dune now then? I hope he doesn't later try to claim it was tongue in cheek, the ****.
AndyNorthernSaints Posted 2 July, 2011 Posted 2 July, 2011 Has Andy Murray come out and said he hates Dune now then? I hope he doesn't later try to claim it was tongue in cheek, the ****. He would probably think like most people that dunce/Stanley is a sad pathetic racist ***** who spends his life on here instead of going out, getting a girlfriend, having a life etc.
keithd Posted 4 July, 2011 Posted 4 July, 2011 I agree with Terrence Wogan who once said he would like to take a machine gun to all the tennis ponces on Henman Hill/ Murray Mound/ Pillock Peak, hormonal middle class wnakers
