I have just come on to the forum to read the latest news and was confronted with the advertising banner at the top of the page selling Man United VIP tickets stating they are the best tickets in town.

Now I know you may not have much to do with this but it doesn't look good when the No1 Saints Forum is pushing Man Utd tickets.:?

It's google and will find a topic relevant to what you browse the web for most of the time. If you hoover over it you will see http://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/....

Funnily enough having set up a blog recently and added a few banners, I am also advertising Man U VIP tickets. Hooray...?

You can check out the wonderful google-led ads here : http://ridiculousfootball.blogspot.com/ and stay for Diana Ross' penalty and the ugly new England goalkeeper shirt.

Oh, and don't forget to like and follow, and all that malarkey.

I have ad blocker on Firefox, so no adverts, but £5 still in my pocket. :smug:

Is that a standard feature or an add on, is which one do you use?

Cheers

An add on called Add Block Plus...also cuts out an adverts that you get if you watch 4OD/ITV Player online aswell. Very handy to have!

Firefox adblock plus is excellent. Somebody else on here also mentioned a recent plugin, foxyproxy, which allows you to access country-specific websites. That mongolian midget porn is streaming through just fine now.
