Pancake Posted 23 October, 2008 Posted 23 October, 2008 Its a friends daughters 4th this weekend and I need some ideas for a present. This kid has loads of stuff to play with, so Im thinking something educational. Anyone out there with 4 year olds know of a good present for about 30 quid?
Master Bates Posted 23 October, 2008 Posted 23 October, 2008 Just buy her sweets or something simple like perfume and make up.
Guest Dark Sotonic Mills Posted 23 October, 2008 Posted 23 October, 2008 Penicillin if she really has it all.
Guest Dark Sotonic Mills Posted 23 October, 2008 Posted 23 October, 2008 Right... Where does she live? An annual pass to the local Zoo - kids love animals. Go to the Early Learning Centre and look for educational toys. (or e-look if v. lazy) Sainsburys larger stores have loads of educational stuff in now Something arty - one of those battery powered pain spinning picture creators and lots of paper, pens and stuff
bridge too far Posted 23 October, 2008 Posted 23 October, 2008 My grandson loves things like 'grow your own worms', farting cushions etc. But maybe that's because he's a boy or maybe its because they're the sort of things I like Seriously, I reckon educational stuff is a good idea or a book on a serious topic that's dealt with in a fun way.
Pancake Posted 23 October, 2008 Author Posted 23 October, 2008 Some good ideas there peeps, keep 'em coming! Im looking into the Zoo idea DSM, good thought!
