I've been to a few festivals in my time and there are always people from all walks of life and of all ages. The fact that nobody is excluded is one of the great things about them.

 

You just don't like the idea of a senior Tory in his 50s associating himself with thousands of liberal people.

I've read it all now, the bloke was wrong about a whole list of things, would have been a disaster for the Country and had some very dubious friends, former Russian spy Oleg Gordievsky claims Foot was on the KGB payroll for 20 years.

 

But, because he was a scruffy ****, who actually believed the nonsense he came out with, he's held up as some sort of giant. It wasn't until Labour moved on from clowns like him and Benn, that they were able to get elected again.

michael foot used to have his own squad number at plymouth argyle.....was even included on the back of the prgramme.

when he died, al the stories came out locally here on how he assisted the KGB on spying on the royal navy etc...whether it was true or not...we will never know

Maybe I missed the thread, but I don't ever seem to recall anybody on this forum calling for any Tories to be executed Delldays. You just love those strawmen don't you.

 

And I also want to echo what Viking Warrior said. Some really moronic comments on a thread about somebody who has lost his life prematurely and left a family behind. Some people have no shame.
