Matthew Le God Posted 23 June, 2011 Posted 23 June, 2011 http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2381103,00.html £14 for adults, £10 for concessions (seniors and young adults), whilst under 17s can get in for only £5. I'll be going.
del boy Posted 23 June, 2011 Posted 23 June, 2011 Couldn't find the date for the fixture - has it not been fixed yet?
um pahars Posted 23 June, 2011 Posted 23 June, 2011 http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2381103,00.html £14 for adults, £10 for concessions (seniors and young adults), whilst under 17s can get in for only £5. I'll be going. Not sure what part Torquay played in the fixing/agreeing of those prices, but a tad on the steep side!!!! Am I right in thinking they will be £17 when you add on the booking fee????
stevegrant Posted 23 June, 2011 Posted 23 June, 2011 While £14 is clearly ridiculous, and Torquay have had a big say in it, I'll nominate Burton Albion for "wild optimist of the competition" as they insisted tickets for their game at Burnley were set at £15
Pedro Posted 23 June, 2011 Posted 23 June, 2011 I'm 64 so no longer a concession, not going at £14, value price is a tenner all round.
um pahars Posted 23 June, 2011 Posted 23 June, 2011 , I'll nominate Burton Albion for "wild optimist of the competition" as they insisted tickets for their game at Burnley were set at £15 It's the BUR derby!!!!!!!!!!!!
Golden Balls Posted 23 June, 2011 Posted 23 June, 2011 Silly prices. Dont think I could go anyway but now I wont bother trying to get it off work.
LeBenali Posted 23 June, 2011 Posted 23 June, 2011 Tenner on the turnstile, no hassle, probably would have gone. Doubt I'll bother now though! (although I do accept it's as much Torquays doing as it would be ours)
saints_is_the_south Posted 23 June, 2011 Posted 23 June, 2011 Be lucky to get 5k I reckon. Would probably have gone but not at £14 - which if you can't make it to SMS before match day rises to £16 on the day or £17 if you book in advance or over the phone! Hmmmm, no ta.
Turkish Posted 23 June, 2011 Posted 23 June, 2011 This would be the ideal game for our mystery 30,000 fans to attend and pack St Marys to the rafters to show what a massive club we are who can easily get crowds of 50k for big games.
Whitey Grandad Posted 23 June, 2011 Posted 23 June, 2011 This would be the ideal game for our mystery 30,000 fans to attend and pack St Marys to the rafters to show what a massive club we are who can easily get crowds of 50k for big games. Or the ideal game to show the club what we think of their pricing policies?
Turkish Posted 23 June, 2011 Posted 23 June, 2011 Or the ideal game to show the club what we think of their pricing policies? £14 Is a bargain to see the new Barcelona. Especially when we have 50,000 fans wanting to watch us every week.
sfc4prem Posted 23 June, 2011 Posted 23 June, 2011 ****e prices. I'm not going. Attendance Prediction: 6,537
goneawol Posted 23 June, 2011 Posted 23 June, 2011 8000 if we're lucky..... Probably be the highest attendance of the round
rocknrollman no2 Posted 23 June, 2011 Posted 23 June, 2011 I wont bother going.£14 is far too pricey for the first round. What with the price of the STs going up,beer going up and no pay rise,im going to have to give these type of games a miss.
Turkish Posted 23 June, 2011 Posted 23 June, 2011 When's it go on general sale? a club which has 50,000 fans trying to get into a 32k stadium should never have a general sale for any game.
latter day saint Posted 23 June, 2011 Posted 23 June, 2011 a club which has 50,000 fans trying to get into a 32k stadium should never have a general sale for any game. and you moan about MLG going on & on & on
sfc4prem Posted 23 June, 2011 Posted 23 June, 2011 a club which has 50,000 fans trying to get into a 32k stadium should never have a general sale for any game. Calm down mate, it's getting a bit boring now. We all know MLG likes to overstate our potential, no need to drag out your p*ss-taking for so many posts...
hamster Posted 23 June, 2011 Posted 23 June, 2011 Make it the forum get together . Who fancies a beer and a curry?
The Cat Posted 23 June, 2011 Posted 23 June, 2011 I'll go. Reckon I'll take my nipper to his first evening game. And £14 isn't that bad. It costs £12 to get into Eastleigh!!
trousers Posted 24 June, 2011 Posted 24 June, 2011 £14 for 90 minutes of entertainment. A genuine bargain.
