JackanorySFC Posted 23 June, 2011 Posted 23 June, 2011 (edited) You can get away with a nice pair of brown brogues (providing your belt is matching in colour) or black shoes with a navy blue suit. Brown/ tan shoes with any other suit colour is unacceptable. Edited 23 June, 2011 by JackanorySFC spelling innit mush
charlie saint Posted 23 June, 2011 Posted 23 June, 2011 What's the occasion? Job interview, funeral - black: you're supposed to look sober, formal - nothing should draw attention to itself. Wedding, party - brown: go mad, why don't you?
saint_stevo Posted 23 June, 2011 Author Posted 23 June, 2011 I wore Brown shoes and a matching brown belt (interview) thought i was looking the puppies parts, the squirrels nuts etc, but when i dropped in to see my parents afterwards they said the brown shoes didn't go, hence me coming on here to get it in writing that i wasn't being a pleb
charlie saint Posted 23 June, 2011 Posted 23 June, 2011 Ahh - you see, confidence is the key to these things. I don't know you, but you sound as if you know what's what. Ignore your parents. Good luck with the job.
scott_saints Posted 23 June, 2011 Posted 23 June, 2011 Why the interview stevo? Personal choice or are the cuts hitting you lot aswell?

Good luck with the job. Too right, got invited back for a second interview, will rock the blue and brown again...... Why the interview stevo? Personal choice or are the cuts hitting you lot aswell? Bit of everything, been here toooo long, pay freeze and recruitment freeze etc has made it all very dull
spyinthesky Posted 23 June, 2011 Posted 23 June, 2011 Never wear brown in town, as the old saying goes
Whitey Grandad Posted 23 June, 2011 Posted 23 June, 2011 Black. Brown should not be worn in the evening.
JonnyLove Posted 23 June, 2011 Posted 23 June, 2011 Depends on the colour Belt. Brown is bold and makes it a little different or just the classic black.
