If they think it will stop anyone drinking the HC are sadly mistaken. Will be an early start that morning now, that's for sure.

For the observationists amongst us, you'll note that our OS uses the "Pompey" nickname in the headline, whereas the Portsmouth OS refers to us as "Southampton" rather than the "Saints".

Make of that what you will.

Not that I wish to stoke up the rivalry this early on....

No doubt they'll be aware of that, but they have to move it anyway to demonstrate that they at least did all they could.

(said Trousers stating the obvious)

In our workplace the name P****mouth brings a written warning if uttered...the P*mpey word is acceptable along with the appropriate spitting sounds...perhaps the OS can also not bring themselves to print the actual name in case it infects something.;)

Not early enough for me! Girlfriend's best mate is getting married on April 7th at 3pm. So, if it is put back to midday, I've got a chance of getting to the game and then the wedding. Even if it means going to SMS in my suit.

C'mon sky!

Surely that's the wrong way round - a nickname infers affection, respect, friendliness

The old bill won't stop me, I shall be injecting a mix of vodka and tequila directly into my veins using a syringe hours before kick off.

Let's face it, that's what the derby is all about isn't it?

It has to be Kick off on the hour, because teaching the Skates that the big hand pointing to the twelve means x o'clock, has taken about 15 years.

Having a half past kick off and trying to teach them that the big hand points to the six would confuse the hell out of them

Crikey their site is awful, looks like it was designed circa 1997.

Funnily enough it got relaunched around 2008, looks like someone decided not to pay the web team along with everything else. Aside from that, it's, er, exactly the same as Saints' and lots of other FL teams ?

Bet at least one of those times will change again, SKY will probably have as a lunch time game (earlier than 1-00pm)

Yeh I bet that they will either put the one at FP on Sky or the one at our place on Sky but we'l just have to wait to see what they decide on what to do!

And if they both are on Sky then I will make sure I have room to record both/either one on my Sky Plus aswell :p!

COYR :D!!

has anyone watched the club guide featuring skates on saints player? the start of the video is hillarious. starts with footage of spinnaker tower then shows a chav with job****e tracksuit top on walking his dog. The dog then takes a dump lol then it shows what I can only assume is southsea whereby the tide is out and all there is muck and washed up rubbish. brilliant!

It did cross my mind but c*nt is also a nickname without the inference you mention.

I should start a campaign to use it as an adjective denoting pikeyness, lack of hygeine, incest, diminished brain capacity, extra fingers, cheating and thieving, smelling of fish...a cover-all word for all those things and more...suggestions below?

e.g. 'You p*mpey (small p deliberate) barsteward' could mean any or all of the above?

Just Friday meanderings but I was heartened when one of my staff said about a ferry from Fishbourne to 'noise of hawking then ptehsmouth' I felt genuine pride...and this is in Narfuk!:proud:
