whelk Posted 20 June, 2011 Posted 20 June, 2011 Cant remember a division containing so may teams with a major hooligan element: West Ham Millwall Cardiff Bristol City Leeds Birmingham Portsmouth Leicester -just about make the list to make it a third of all teams in the div
opthomps Posted 20 June, 2011 Posted 20 June, 2011 What's your point? Or are you just bored beyond belief like almost everyone else? I wonder if any other football forum has ever had such a headline.
Doctoroncall Posted 20 June, 2011 Posted 20 June, 2011 Is that list based on police arrest figures at the game or just your assessment? Where's SRS when you need him.
whelk Posted 20 June, 2011 Author Posted 20 June, 2011 I thought it was quite stimulating compared to the predict the score of the first game without knowing the first fixtures. I think i am too exciting for this forum of bores;-)
Lighthouse Posted 20 June, 2011 Posted 20 June, 2011 What do we need Police for? We're 'ard innit, pork pork!
dune Posted 20 June, 2011 Posted 20 June, 2011 Leicester -just about make the list to make it a third of all teams in the div.
Gemmel Posted 20 June, 2011 Posted 20 June, 2011 I will wait to be corrected, but I think Saints are the same risk catergory as millwall, leeds, pompey cardiff etc.
dune Posted 20 June, 2011 Posted 20 June, 2011 I will wait to be corrected, but I think Saints are the same risk catergory as millwall, leeds, pompey cardiff etc. If true that's crazy.

saint.tom.clancy Posted 21 June, 2011 Posted 21 June, 2011 I'm pretty sure we'd be somewhere up there... Of course everyone would know this had they gone to any Saturday away game last season. There was often a lot of "lads" and a large police presence wherever we went.
whelk Posted 22 June, 2011 Author Posted 22 June, 2011 I went to 7 away games last season and dint see any trouble. Lots of embarrassing chavs though. Does that count?
Griffo Posted 22 June, 2011 Posted 22 June, 2011 Yes lots of litte chavs dressed up thinking they're "hard" Here are some of our fine fines at Waterloo Photo removed at the request of someone who appears in it I don't think there was really any need for that, do you?
This Charming Man Posted 22 June, 2011 Posted 22 June, 2011 Yes lots of litte chavs dressed up thinking they're "hard" Here are some of our fine fines at Waterloo Photo removed at the request of someone who appears in it What's the point in uploading that?
Danny R Posted 22 June, 2011 Posted 22 June, 2011 I will wait to be corrected, but I think Saints are the same risk catergory as millwall, leeds, pompey cardiff etc. No way. I think someone said that a year ago that we were 'Category 1'. It turned out that Category 1 was purely for the Saints v Pompey game. We are nowhere near any of the above as anyone who attends away games north of Charlton will testify.

You might well be right and I can't find the article I was looking for, but this one goes some way to explaining the polices changing attitudes towards us. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/features/newsreview/8169169.Rise_in_violence_at_Saints_matches/

Then again, through my rose tinted specs I probably tend to overlook the unsavory part of our support.
thesaint sfc Posted 22 June, 2011 Posted 22 June, 2011 We'd be somewhere in that list too. No we wouldn't.
whelk Posted 23 June, 2011 Author Posted 23 June, 2011 I was just about to reply with the same thing. God some fans our so bloody mundane! lol if you end a post with 'lol' you give up any right to criticise. Pointless ****
