God forbid that the UK be hit with a terror attack to the scale of 9/11 then.

May I ask you directly Ponty,

1) What do you personally have against ID cards?

2) (Very hypothetical but) Knowing for certain that Mr x was planning to commit an act of terror but the police couldnt find sufficient evidence to charge him after 3 weeks and he was released and went ahead with his plan killing thousands, would you be upset he was released early? Or twisted another way, if he were detained against the rules unofficially for 6 weeks and enough evidence was obtained to prove his plan, would you lobby for his release to support you belief knowing releasing him would cause innocent deaths?

3) Are you happy your hard earned cash is paying for benefits for someone to have more kids therefore increasing their benefits with no intention of ever getting a job to financially support their family.

BTW Q3 is one I asked ages ago, which you have still yet to answer.

I know a Mr X who is going to commit a terrible terrorist crime. He is living in a £1million mansion that has been paid for from the pensions of Falklands veterans. He shares this house with his 4 wives and 9 goats, all of whom have been given a car by this loony left government. He can't even speak English or use you're/your correctly. If this man had an ID card and no human rights I would be happy.

what has happened to INS?

Nothing, just wanted to ask a few serious questions. Ill go back to being a spammer when I have had answers.

I fear Ponty has skirted around answering my question though as he knows the answer to my question would be similar to my views which he would never admit.

It frustrates him that his earnings is directly supporting a spunging family but admiting it will be a tad hypocritical after calling me a fascist

Benefits should only be there for the sick and ill. There is absolutely no reason on earth why anyone that is fit and healthy needs to be given money for doing nothing.

A simple procedure of "clocking in" with litter patrols, council rejuvenation schemes, building nature reserves for children and any number of other social community benefiting ideas is far better. For this, the receiver will be paid a low wage. This will make them realise that money isn't free and that if they look around they can find themselves a job that occupies the same amount of time during the day and pays then more.

It really could be as simple as that. People would no longer begrudge them their handout as they would be "earning" it.

I wonder if it will be that simple if the imminent recession (apparently) kicks in and a lot more people are unemployed? It might not be so easy for them to go on to find a job that pays more than social schemes.

My main concern would be for the children. We can rant on ad nauseam about how wrong it is for some people to have children but the inescapable fact is that those children are there, through no fault of their own, and they need to be fed and clothed.

I honestly believe that my idea would make this the last generation of "unplanned" pregnancies. I seriously think that chav culture, seeing your older sister living with her baby or two in a council flat, paid for by the masses, is exciting to some youngsters. I am not saying the reality is, but when still at home with mum and dad and you see you could be all grown up if you open your legs and get pregnant, then I think it appeals. If you tell a young single mum that she will have to leave her kid with another single mum on her estate while she goes out for 4 hours to clean school toilets to get her money, then she will have to do it. That isn't being harsh on them, it is showing them they have a responsibility to endorse good values on their children for their childrens sakes and for their own.

Presumably the children's fathers are supporting the mothers and the offspring? After all, it takes two.....

If I were to say this I would be mauled. FWIW I think it would be a brilliant idea. Or, if in the case of single parents, you get the state to pay one to become qualified in child sitting and they then look after a few children during the day, enabling the other single parents to go out and work.

I think the new unemployment plan they were going to bring was a good one, ie Unemployed for a year you'll have to do a months worth of community work to get your benefits/dole and after 2 years a full time job in the community.

Kills 2 birds with one stone, more communmity work done and people working for their money.

Great idea. I presume you'll volunteer to look after the hoards of sprogs while they're doing the community work.

Yes, fathers would have to pay up and perhaps if my scheme were introduced it would also stop mothers from making excuses to name the father so that they can get double bubble.

The last I heard was that some benefits were denied UNLESS the father was named.

What would you do in the case of a woman who had been raped, subsequently got pregnant but didn't believe in abortion so gave birth?

It's happening, not me implementing professor. I meant for the unemployed as I said dole, I was using it as example to help the community rather than just pay people.

PS there are Child care schemes and nursaries for young children btw!

To be perfectly blunt, she would be no different. Why should she be? Being raped is a horrible situation but it doesn't entitle her to a free ride for 18 years. If she is still "ill" from the anguish etc of the rape then that is another matter, but even that can't last forever.

Making a connection between feeling sorry for someone and subsequently offering them a free ride through life is a very dangerous precedent to set, and sadly we have already done it.

It is time to change direction. We have good honest and hard working people in this country that are coming up to retirement or already have and there is less money in the pot for them as our taxes are going on the lazy who just don't want to work.

They're bl00dy expensive though! I was horrified when my daughter told me it would cost £50 a day to send my granddaughter to nursery so that my daughter can go back to work.

She's doing this as her partner's abandoned her and she doesn't want to be a single mother / drain on the economy

My daugher earns very good money but she will still struggle to find £250 a week (£1000 a month) for this.

Dear Lord - I'm wringing my hands in despair.

Are there many others who think like you? God, I hope not.

Yes, but if my idea was to get off the ground she could leave her child with a council house chav that smokes ciggies all day for only £10.

Can I just use this as an example. I would have been massacred if I had said even one or two of the things JFP has said (not that I am condoning nor agreeing with what is said).

I think this goes to show some people only care about who posts things, not necessarily what they post. If they are not their favourite posters, they rip into them. If they like them, they let it slide.

In fairness, it's less about what I have written and more about my fleshy appendage.
