Just off to see my three little girls for a treat that I shall be paying for. Still, it is a good investment. One day they will be choosing my rest home!

I'm firmly of the view that being father is the hardest unpaid job there is. This view is not proving to be very popular with the numerous female side of the extended family, but I'm sticking to my guns.

I was bounced by my 3 at early o'clock and after lunch it's time for Kung Foo Panda II.

 

I love being a dad.

My little lad came bounding in with his pressie,he was so proud of what he bought me and his hand written card.

I was also very proud.

 

We are soon to be having copious amounts of treats whilst playing Lego Pirates of the Carribean.

Best job in the world. I loved it. A rollercoaster ride but I glad it happened.

 

To those whose kids are still young - make the most of it. They grow up incredibly fast and I really miss the endless games of footy on the Common (whatever the weather) and the visits to every Fire Station and Police Station open day within 30 miles.

my nipper made some lovely cards for me & got me a nice Ralph Lauren polo shirt.

not bad for a 6 yr old

he then decided to try to climb up a book case to get a game down and managed to pull it down on himself. fookin sh*t myself when i heard the bang & ran in to find him under it ! was all ok & was asking to go in the garden 5 mins later

Son in law had a bit of a shock for a few seconds when his teenage daughters gave him a mug which had

"Best Grandad in the world" on it. Turns out they hadn't read it properly when buying it. :lol:
