Just off to see my three little girls for a treat that I shall be paying for. Still, it is a good investment. One day they will be choosing my rest home! :)

My little lad came bounding in with his pressie,he was so proud of what he bought me and his hand written card.

I was also very proud.

We are soon to be having copious amounts of treats whilst playing Lego Pirates of the Carribean.

I'm firmly of the view that being father is the hardest unpaid job there is. This view is not proving to be very popular with the numerous female side of the extended family, but I'm sticking to my guns.

Best job in the world. I loved it. A rollercoaster ride but I glad it happened.

To those whose kids are still young - make the most of it. They grow up incredibly fast and I really miss the endless games of footy on the Common (whatever the weather) and the visits to every Fire Station and Police Station open day within 30 miles.

To all the dads that have limited access to their children,be strong and remember they only have one real dad.

Be there for them always.

You keep your chin up mate too. Sounds like you are doing a cracking job.
