I have a new 900-114 reflecting telescope for sale. It is ex demo and hasn't been used. I bought it for my boys but have upgraded even before I have used it to a motorised 'scope.

 

It is a Jessops 900mm focal length, 114mm diameter reflector. The new price was £199.99 but I am open to serious offers. I will deliver it within the Southampton/Winchester region for free but further afield it would cost about £15 by Parcel Force Next Day.

Magnification range of 900x114 REFLECTOR Telescope is 45x, 68x, 135x, 225x, 338x, 675x.

Magnification of 900x114 REFLECTOR Telescope is arrived at by dividing the focal length (900mm) by the eyepiece mm. This can be further increased by 3x using the 3x Barlow eyepiece and 1.5x erecting eyepiece in 900x114 REFLECTOR Telescope .

Optimum magnification of 900x114 REFLECTOR Telescopes is 225x. Rack & Pinion focusing.

900 x 114 Telescope 1.25” 4mm eyepiece. 1.25” 20mm eyepiece.

I'm no expert but that telescope looks great, I bet you can see for miles with one of those. If I had the cash I'd certainly buy it.

Looks a bit like mine although mine is bigger and why sell it - give it to the grandchildren/child?

 

Because I have already bought an upgrade to a Celestron NexStar 130 SLT motorised 'scope as I found it on eBay as a bit of a bargain.

Is that a special space telephone attached to the stand, so you can call any passing UFOs you spot with the telescope?

 

Maybe its so he can report on the "secret payload" or some "trouble with the Hubble" no?

Right. I've put it on eBay with a buy-it-now price of £79.99. Anyone on here who wants it I'll let it go for £75. It's a hell of a saving but I really need to get shot of it.

 

I will still deliver to the Winch or Soton area as well.
