Prince Jazzbo Posted 16 June, 2011 Posted 16 June, 2011 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-13788594 Do you reckon he had to go through the normal recruitment process i.e. submit his CV, get shortlisted and go for an interview before he got the job?

miserableoldgit Posted 16 June, 2011 Posted 16 June, 2011 "and what are my long term prospects if I take the position?"
mickn Posted 16 June, 2011 Posted 16 June, 2011 Hope he gets a good fixtures and fittings budget if he's moving into Bin Laden's old place.
Viking Warrior Posted 16 June, 2011 Posted 16 June, 2011 I hope he underwent a criminal records check, Al queda do not want to have an unfit person in charge of underage mecernaries at the head of the organisation. Mind you the war lords in afghan to take young good looking boys under their wing as a sign of prestige. I will post a picture of such a war lord with his young boys. "!!!
toofarnorth Posted 16 June, 2011 Posted 16 June, 2011 Did he run unapposed such as Blatter. This Al Qaeda just doesn't do democracy.
jjsaint Posted 16 June, 2011 Posted 16 June, 2011 Damn. I had a tenner on Adnan Gulshair el Shukrijumah.
BigShadow Posted 16 June, 2011 Posted 16 June, 2011 I hope he underwent a criminal records check, Al queda do not want to have an unfit person in charge of underage mecernaries at the head of the organisation. They outsourced the criminal background check to the same company the PL & FL use for their FAPPT. He passed with flying colours - and as an added bonus is now free to own an English Football Club .
Barney Trubble Posted 16 June, 2011 Posted 16 June, 2011 I would have turned him down at the initial interview stage. If he can't be bothered to have a shave, or tidy his fluff up, to attend an interview, then that tells me a lot about his attitude. I bet his flip-flops weren't polished either, I hate unpolished shoes/flip-flops.
RonManager Posted 16 June, 2011 Posted 16 June, 2011 He's a plumber, lives down my street. Free estimates.
Atticus Finch of Maycomb Posted 16 June, 2011 Posted 16 June, 2011 He's a plumber, lives down my street. Free estimates. Come to my place sometime. I would like a free estimate. Please. Come.
RonManager Posted 16 June, 2011 Posted 16 June, 2011 Come to my place sometime. I would like a free estimate. Please. Come. Will pop round on the weekend for bantering. Hard work, long days, knackered/braindead at the mo.
Atticus Finch of Maycomb Posted 16 June, 2011 Posted 16 June, 2011 Will pop round on the weekend for bantering. Hard work, long days, knackered/braindead at the mo. I promise to love you. With long, hard sexual favours. I will play the man. Or the girl, depending on preference.
Kadeem Hardison Posted 16 June, 2011 Posted 16 June, 2011 Never a good idea to promote from within. He was probably one of the lads before, now all of the lads in al-Qaeda have to look up to him as the boss. It's like Steve Wigley all over again.
RonManager Posted 16 June, 2011 Posted 16 June, 2011 I promise to love you. With long, hard sexual favours. I will play the man. Or the girl, depending on preference. Aw shucks.

He was a 'shoe-in' for it. If Arabs have such things.
Wilko Posted 17 June, 2011 Posted 17 June, 2011 This shows the shortcomings of appointing leaders rather than voting for them, IMO. He wouldn't have been my first choice.

Wade Garrett Posted 21 June, 2011 Posted 21 June, 2011 I thought Jack Warner was going for the job. Apparently he was turned down for being too corrupt. The brown envelopes he handed round in the Pakistani cave didn't go down too well with the executive members.
