During le tiss short time on twitter I asked the great man when we would be involved in another masters and he said it's not our decision. I asked if it's the clubs and he replied that it's the organisers. Didn't get any more info so not sure what needs to be done to get back in but it doesn't seem very likely.

stkev7 Posted 15 June, 2011 Posted 15 June, 2011 I went a good few years ago when they held the Southern Masters in Milton Keynes. We had the Skates, Spurs and Arsenal in our group. Quality day had by all despite us not making the final.

Wasn't the keeper on year some huge fattie who played for Eastleigh who had never played a first team game for SFC? Even Matty struggled to keep up with the pace of the 5-a-side game. Probably best we don't field a team!

The master tournaments are just one hell of a lot of fun, it's been ruined because a lot of teams are starting to take it too seriously.
Ewell Posted 15 June, 2011 Posted 15 June, 2011 I was at MK when we played Pompey, Fulham and Chelsea a few years ago and Saints did well losing to Chelsea in the final. You can email them at info@mastersfootball.com and ask why we are not being included. I suspect it is because of a lack of venues in the south which is a real shame as we had a lot of fans in Milton Keynes that night.
