Fowllyd Posted 19 June, 2011 Share Posted 19 June, 2011 RIP Clarence, a very sad loss. Always remember hearing Born To Run for the first time all those years ago; some blistering sax on there.
SuperMikey Posted 19 June, 2011 Share Posted 19 June, 2011 Seeing him play sax with the E Street Band at Glastonbury a few years ago was a true honour, a great musician. RIP
Foxstone Posted 20 June, 2011 Share Posted 20 June, 2011 "When the change was made uptown And the Big Man joined the band From the coastline to the city All the little pretties raise their hands I'm gonna sit back right easy and laugh When Scooter and the Big Man bust this city in half..." Absolutely devastated to hear this news - I knew he had a stroke but hoped he would recover to play and tour again. Now gone to join Danny Federici... RIP "Big Man" and thankyou for the music and the memories...
Dimond Geezer Posted 20 June, 2011 Author Share Posted 20 June, 2011 Just found out. Really gutted by this. Another of musics greats gone. He was the only member of the E Street band to feature on the cover of an album with Springsteen. Rip Big Man.
