He passed away last night.

Springsteen is said to be devastated.

He was integral to the E street band.

Sad Loss to the music world.

RIP Clarence, a very sad loss. Always remember hearing Born To Run for the first time all those years ago; some blistering sax on there.

Seeing him play sax with the E Street Band at Glastonbury a few years ago was a true honour, a great musician.

Absolutely devastated to hear this news - I knew he had a stroke but hoped he would recover to play and tour again. Now gone to join Danny Federici...

Just found out. Really gutted by this. Another of musics greats gone. He was the only member of the E Street band to feature on the cover of an album with Springsteen.
