The9 Posted 12 June, 2011 Posted 12 June, 2011 10 years at St Mary's this season, are the club planning any kind of merchandising, marketing, commemoration or anything else, and should they be ?
Saint_clark Posted 12 June, 2011 Posted 12 June, 2011 Probably an article about the last 10 years in the programme for the Memorial Cup, nothing else.
LGTL Posted 12 June, 2011 Posted 12 June, 2011 Where has the time gone?! Feels more like "home" every season, but I still get the odd twinge for the Dell every now and again.
Saint Fan CaM Posted 12 June, 2011 Posted 12 June, 2011 Mmm, not too much to celebrate for the first 8 years I would suggest. Dunno about anyone else, but my passion is for the club/team/city and not really for the stadium itself.
peacey Posted 12 June, 2011 Posted 12 June, 2011 Mmm, not too much to celebrate for the first 8 years I would suggest. Winning the Tad Bates trophy, playing Bayern Munich i think it was.."Super Brett" with the goal....but seriously your spot on, lets hope for bigger and better things now at St Marys. Thats if we dont move to a new super stadium anytime soon!
LGTL Posted 12 June, 2011 Posted 12 June, 2011 An aspect of St Mary's I do like is that it's still within the city centre, imagine having an out of town montrosity like Colchester, where the nearest pub is about 10 miles away.
scott_saints Posted 12 June, 2011 Posted 12 June, 2011 St Marys is pretty poor for a new stadium. I like the location though.

Sour Mash Posted 13 June, 2011 Posted 13 June, 2011 Mmm, not too much to celebrate for the first 8 years I would suggest. Yes, good point, reaching a Cup Final, having several successful years in the Prem, full houses on 30k most games.............
Sour Mash Posted 13 June, 2011 Posted 13 June, 2011 St Marys is pretty poor for a new stadium. I like the location though. Its very similar to pretty much all the other new grounds that were built at the same time, not much better or worse, but with a much better location than most.
CHAPEL END CHARLIE Posted 13 June, 2011 Posted 13 June, 2011 Yes Northam is especially lovely this time of year - I'm thinking of spending my summer holidays there.
