Been - just got back!

 

Wonderful week in Norfolk, dead lucky with the weather too. Visited some fantastic places. My favourite - a steam collection at Thursford - steam organs, steam engines, steam fairground rides, a Wurlitzer organ. I love steam engines http://www.thursford.com/

 

Had a boat out on the Broads, went to Sutton Hoo and Southwold. And visited Norwich - it's a charming city (well, the centre is).

 

Back to earth now

Weston-on-Sea. Staying in my timeshare apartment that looks out over the sea. The apartments just a few hundred metres from the beach and from the 15th floor it gives some awesome views.

Have many fond memories of my late teens in Benalmadena. Went there for me summer hols three years running and how I avoided ending up in a Spanish Jail is beyond me.

Loads of times, my parents lived there for 7 years - at the Poniente end.

 

It's okay, if you like being surrounded by pi.sed up Brits on your holiday.

 

Personally, I depart on Tuesday for 3.5 weeks to the Crimea and southern Ukraine.

Starting in Yalta and ending in Odessa, with a few other places - including Balaklava and Sevastopol - enroute.
