Pat from Poole Posted 9 June, 2011 Posted 9 June, 2011 Given the anti-Saints keyboard warrior activity of a number of Brentford's fanbase a couple of months ago, I'm sure you will all feel a degree of sympathy for them, given that their new manager is to be one of the worst strikers in the history of Southampton FC.
Big_Bald_Si Posted 9 June, 2011 Posted 9 June, 2011 Hey, don't knock Rosler - scored the last ever goal at the Dell
doddisalegend Posted 9 June, 2011 Posted 9 June, 2011 Not bothered. We'll never play them again. Not heard of cup matches then?
JonnyLove Posted 9 June, 2011 Posted 9 June, 2011 Do you have a link for said information as I cannot find anything on the BBC website
rooney Posted 9 June, 2011 Posted 9 June, 2011 Hey, don't knock Rosler - scored the last ever goal at the Dell But that was the only one he ever scored for us was it not?
norwaysaint Posted 9 June, 2011 Posted 9 June, 2011 I wasn't aware we were supposed to dislike Rosler or Brentford. I should read more of the ****ter threads on here.
Dimond Geezer Posted 9 June, 2011 Posted 9 June, 2011 But that was the only one he ever scored for us was it not? IIRC he scored in a cup match as well.
Griffo Posted 9 June, 2011 Posted 9 June, 2011 Didn't he score the first ever Saints goal at St Mary's too, in the Espanyol game?
John B Posted 9 June, 2011 Posted 9 June, 2011 I like Brentford I used to work and know a number of their fans. It cannot be easy supporting a small team when teams like Chelsea and Fulham are nearby but they do so fair play to them. I also like Brentford because they play in Red and White Stripes and their Reseves were the first Team I saw at the Dell

ToreSF Posted 9 June, 2011 Posted 9 June, 2011 He has trained a couple of norwegian premership clubs in the last couple of years. Various results. And som nazi schazi methods, like when he made his team train in the middle of the night before constitution day after losing heavily the same day:
sandwichsaint Posted 9 June, 2011 Posted 9 June, 2011 Rosler complete **** hate that man with a passion! Really? Reason? Have you just written this for effect, or do you have actually think he is 'a four letter word' who you 'hate with a passion'? It's lovely out today, perhaps you could go for a walk this evening, it might clear your head a bit.
Micky Posted 9 June, 2011 Posted 9 June, 2011 (edited) Didn't he score the first ever Saints goal at St Mary's too, in the Espanyol game? Nahh - Kevin Davies did, Uwe got the 2nd and the 3rd...! Edit: Actually technically speaking Davies got the 5th and Rosler the 6th and 7th - we were 4 nil down at that point.... ffs...!! Edited 9 June, 2011 by Micky Technical correctness of credits..!
Crowds Posted 9 June, 2011 Posted 9 June, 2011 Since I was one of a dozen or so saints fans to be told to **** off by uwe and given the middle finger. This was while playing in the away leg against le harve. This was because he was walking around the pitch couldn't be bothered to chase a ball/man though he was bigger than the team/occasion. We made him aware we weren't happy. This was the week after he was moaning in the echo about why he should he starting games and why he should t be on the bench

bungle Posted 9 June, 2011 Posted 9 June, 2011 Uwe got 5 goals for Saints, 4 in friendlies. Mansfield away in the League Cup was his only competitive goal, last goal at Dell, two in the opening game at St Mary's and a goal away at Le Havre in a January friendly where we lost 3-1. We lost the 'home leg' 2-0. I went to the home game, but not yet met anyone who will admit to having gone to Le Havre on, I think, a Friday night.

It's lovely out today, perhaps you could go for a walk this evening, it might clear your head a bit. Its obviously heartfelt, as Crowds has racked up a grand total of 181 posts in four and a half years. I'd be interested to know as well tbh, dont have any particular feelings either way about rosler myself. Apart from him being german of course. edit- ffs, just seen crowds response. Seems reasonable to me, consider uwe rosler added to c*nts corner in the next ten minutes... second edit- done. Edited 9 June, 2011 by scotty Roslers infamy is spreading....
Rory Posted 9 June, 2011 Posted 9 June, 2011 Is Mark Draper going to be his number two? Would that make him a Draper Stool?
Crazy Diamond Posted 9 June, 2011 Posted 9 June, 2011 The father of a friend of mine down here in Bournemouth works for Brentford. His words on the subject: "He'll have us in the Prem in two years. The Blue Square Premier that is".
Scudamore Posted 9 June, 2011 Posted 9 June, 2011 Would that make him a Draper Stool? Baj will be with you shortly...
