Crab Lungs Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 come on! givers a brake,,had to go and catch tea, For a skate, you're a right laugh!
St Chalet Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 The gruelling challenge is all in aid of the Oakley Waterman Caravan Foundation, which was set up in 2005 after former Pompey footballer Dave Waterman's son died at the age of six from a rare form of cancer. Money raised will go towards funding the Foundation's work, which involves taking children with life-threatening illnesses on free caravan holidays. Hardly laughing material?
Crab Lungs Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 Hardly laughing material? OK, didn't see that. However - I don't think we're exactly laughing at what they're doing, more what site they're featured on..
Badger Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 Bet Geldof is really cursing that he did not think of it first, Caravan Relief. (or Gypo Aid).
dune Posted 8 June, 2011 Author Posted 8 June, 2011 Does anyone have a photo of the banner draped accross a footbridge on the route into Southampton from one of the derby games? PLEASE LEAVE YOUR CARAVANS AT THE PARK AND RIDE
dune Posted 8 June, 2011 Author Posted 8 June, 2011 This must have been the cultural highlight of the year. The Caravan Gallery needs your help to create a growing participatory exhibition celebrating the unique character of Portsmouth, not just the obvious things but unfamiliar, overlooked details and hidden secrets. Go for a walk, take some photos, eavesdrop a few conversations, make notes, collect things. An entire wall will be set aside for your observations. Come along and complete an unusually entertaining Portsmouth survey, make a postcard or souvenir, record a video portrait, add something to our map. Space gallery will become a centre for urban exploration for a month, an alternative visitor information centre. This is your chance to help The Caravan Gallery create The People’s Guide to Portsmouth! http://www.strong-island.co.uk/2011/04/17/the-caravan-gallery-exhibition-launch/
Saint in Paradise Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 Well after actually reading the article I hope that they do raise lots of money for that charity. I just hope they don't let PFC become involved in any way. .
