saintjay77 Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 Blimey! I thought they would give obertan more time to be honest! I can't see wez brown dripping to championship either. I would have thought a few prem clubs would be happy to take him. Losing OXO while gaining some cash and a few players of that standard wouldn't be such a bad thing though.
St Marco Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 Obertan and hash Brown for Alex.......are they having a laugh?
Crab Lungs Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 Cash please... Brown is ****e (and has been ****e for about 3-4 years, like Wayne Bridge) and Obertan is dreadful. It'll just be like having N'Guessan back, but with quadruple wages
capitalsaint Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 Cash please... Brown is ****e (and has been ****e for about 3-4 years, like Wayne Bridge) and Obertan is dreadful. It'll just be like having N'Guessan back, but with quadruple wages i actually thought both of them were quite underrated.
St Marco Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 i actually thought both of them were quite underrated. To put it into context. Alex has scored more goals in one season then Obertan has in 5 seasons. It would be a huge drop in quality to what we have now imo.
stu0x Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 As if we would be able or willing to pay Wes Browns wages... what a load of old ****e
saints-cris Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 Anyone suggesting Brown would be rubbish is a moron. He would be by far one of the best defenders in the championship and is quite frankly way out of our league.
Boris Karloff Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 Brown is on about £70k a week no? I can't see him dropping to Championship as his wage cut would be too much.
Matthew Le God Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 Anyone suggesting Brown would be rubbish is a moron. He would be by far one of the best defenders in the championship and is quite frankly way out of our league. As would his wages, unless Man Utd paid a high % of them for the duration of his time at Saints.
channonball Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 If we were to lose Oxo this would be a good scenario. But there is absolutely no chance! Obertan is a good player, not good enough for Man U, but definately championship. A fit Wes Brown would do a job next to Fonte.
verlaine1979 Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 I wonder why Man U want him when they've got Ravel Morrison who is around the same age, same position, and looks every bit as good (if not better)?
The Majestic Channon Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 Obertan sucks, so does Bebe Are you american?
Matthew Le God Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 I wonder why Man U want him when they've got Ravel Morrison who is around the same age, same position, and looks every bit as good (if not better)? Not the most stable of young men... http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/manchester-united-starlet-ravel-morrison-to-undergo-violence-counselling-2289279.html
saints-cris Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 FootballAgentPM Peter Morrison One in for #mufc & one is definitely going out before the wkd. Seen as most of you already seem to know everything no need to tell you! Phil Jones form Blackburn in.. Must be Brown to us then
JonnyLove Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 I don't think I have ever seen a player score more own goals than Brown.
Saint_clark Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 Right, I think we need to try and keep all the Chamberlain related stories in one thread. This is getting ridiculous. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?30542-Looks-like-Chamberlain-s-off-then
