saint lard Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 According to the Echo,he is available for a nominal fee if we want him. Thanks but,er,no thanks, all the same.
Toomer Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 Not enough about him quality wise to help the push for the Prem.
supersonic Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 Even if he was available for nothing I wouldn't sign him
scott_saints Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 Depends how cheap. And IF it's really cheap..... it depends if he's happy being 3rd choice (ish). He has played more championship football than alot of our squad afterall.
Gingeletiss Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 Even if he was available for nothing I wouldn't sign him I know a team in Hampshire, that might!
Paul Chuckle Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 Didn't he set up both goals away at Exeter which got us 3 points plus he had a winner wrongly ruled offside at Charlton. Not as bad as people are making out and he did make a contribution. Would i sign him though..... Probably not
CHAPEL END CHARLIE Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 While he hasn't done that much for us as yet it's very harsh to write a 23 year old player off after a mere handful of starts here. Saganowski came here on loan and was fantastic for a while before turning into a lorry load of crapola - you never know but Dany N'Guessan MIGHT just do the reverse. The manager should be in a position to know by now just how much potential he really has - as much from the training ground as from games.
Bakovnetski Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 Did we really see enough of him to judge? Probably still getting used to English game's pace. With a bit more space in the nPCC he could be useful.
skintsaint Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 Did we really see enough of him to judge? Probably still getting used to English game's pace. With a bit more space in the nPCC he could be useful. think he has spent most of his career in the UK so far.
jjsaint Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 Depends on his wages. Perhaps if we aren't interested he can go to P*mpey & earn £30k a week.
stevegrant Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 Didn't he set up both goals away at Exeter which got us 3 points plus he had a winner wrongly ruled offside at Charlton. Not as bad as people are making out and he did make a contribution. Would i sign him though..... Probably not This, basically.
doddisalegend Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 His lack of starts even with our injuries towards the end of the season would suggest that Nigel didn't see much in him I would of thought. Never got to see enough of him to label him sh it, but the very fact we didn't see much of him tells it's own story.....
saintjay77 Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 Didn't he set up both goals away at Exeter which got us 3 points plus he had a winner wrongly ruled offside at Charlton. Not as bad as people are making out and he did make a contribution. Would i sign him though..... Probably not He defo set up 1 of the goals at Exeter and some people were raving about him then. To me he looked a bit crap but put in 1 good cross. Every time he had the ball at his feet he tried to run past players with absolutely no control over the ball. Made me think I have a chance as a professional football player as I have about the same amount of skill! The one time he did good was when someone played the ball through to the bi-line and he blitzed past the defender with speed that shows why I will never make it as a professional football player, and put a good cross in for lambert to score from. Think he might of actually had a shot in the first half that wasn't half bad too but looked clumsy most if the time. If he played give and go all the time I'm sure he would look class. But we already have players that are faster and also have more skill with the ball at their feet. So IMO we should leave well alone.
dronskisaint Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 I know a team in Hampshire, that might! There is only one and we don't want him!
Nexstar Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 would rather have Ricketts.....the disease. I laughed very hard at that! Even if he was on a free and agreed to sell beer at half-time, I still wouldn't want him.
Saint Fan CaM Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 I can't see Nigel wanting him to be honest - while there were some flashes of competency (in L1), he will not have enough to compete for a 1st team place in the NPC IMO. We need to improve and he doesn't fit the bill to be fair.
corsacar saint Posted 8 June, 2011 Posted 8 June, 2011 No thanks, terribly low on confidence, when he was on loan.Maybe had the goal against Charlton away been rightly allowed, his confidence levels may have risen.[On the other hand they may not have done].
sammysaint Posted 9 June, 2011 Posted 9 June, 2011 I reckon if he's happy with being a bench player again I would have him, he has decent pace and with the right training and confidence he can do a ok job for us and been a impacted sub for us in the last 20mins. Let's be fair he was up agaist lallana who's a top championship player and would warm the bench for most prem teams and AOC potential prem and England star.
PaulGilchrist_76 Posted 9 June, 2011 Posted 9 June, 2011 No, not really good enough. All the best to him though.
pingwing Posted 9 June, 2011 Posted 9 June, 2011 Wasn't it Do Prado that was offside against Charlton that turned out to be horribly wrong? N'guessan was alright against Walsall, had a goal disallowed for offside that well was off side for being good and not offside, but as a player he would need some time to develop and not do a punch (aka turn up knowing he's for the bench for a while)
Whitey Grandad Posted 9 June, 2011 Posted 9 June, 2011 He is soooooo last season. The next one is a whole new ball game.
niceandfriendly Posted 12 June, 2011 Posted 12 June, 2011 This, basically. This? This what? Oh you mean you agree? F*cking type that then. "This." For goodness sake what's happened to our language?
