Window Cleaner Posted 4 June, 2011 Share Posted 4 June, 2011 (edited) Cannot believe how the 4 seasons are totally confused these last 12 months,we had January and February's climate last October and November, from mid-March to mid May it was like June,July and August with temperatures in the 80s most of the time, we had 40 or 50 days wth little or no rain insomuch that 2/3 of the country was in a drought situation and farmers were making hay in May and there isn't enough cattle feed to go round.then over the last 48 hours we've had monsoon like rains and the quantity of rainfall we've had in the last 24 hours must be equivalent to an entire spring's. One sometimes wonders if a year is in fact 12 calendar months and not 11and a half and if we haven't got out of synchronisation or something. As researchers have just proved Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principal isn't quite right perhaps we need to look at the length of a year as well Edited 4 June, 2011 by Window Cleaner

Window Cleaner Posted 4 June, 2011 Author Share Posted 4 June, 2011 Is this one of those 'Guess the anagram' threads? Nope I'm on a field trip and am using my laptop which is scarcely more advanced than a Commodore 64.It has sticky keys, couldn't say why, think those pesky kids must have "borrowed it" from time to time. Now they've both got state of the art wonder laptops and I'm left with the old junk that's no doubt had Ovaltine and fizzy pop split over it on too many occasions. So I got the title wrong and now I can't edit it,how shame making.
suewhistle Posted 4 June, 2011 Share Posted 4 June, 2011 Same here: it's been a poor winter for snow and dry for ages but we've had 40mm+ on a couple of days, 20 on others so 4inches or so in the last 3/4days plus on Wednesday it snowed down to 1000m! Still cloudy and threatening but boy, are the mountains looking flush with green..
