Having a bike. That's all you needed growing up in those days.

 

I had a boxer and then...

 

An ammaco mongoose chrome bmx with black mags and stunt nuts.:smug:

 

And a crushed coke can jammed in the back wheel...

To make it sound like a motorbike? We used a playing card and a peg around early 90's!

Seriously, ,ime too. Bought it when driving up to Old Trafford circa '84 with a car full of ****ed up mates. It was a Mk4 Cortina with a Mk5 grille, killed it under a lorry that pulled out on me along Queensway driving home after a night shift at the old Back of The Walls Post Office.

 

I couldn't make that up and I thought I'd forgotten about it, all of it. I remember stopping in Oxford on theway home and no pub would let us in so I shot down to that The Swan just as you come out of Newbury for last orders. **** me, is this the alzheimers kicking in?
