LGTL Posted 2 June, 2011 Posted 2 June, 2011 Having a bike. That's all you needed growing up in those days. I had a boxer and then... An ammaco mongoose chrome bmx with black mags and stunt nuts. And a crushed coke can jammed in the back wheel... To make it sound like a motorbike? We used a playing card and a peg around early 90's!
dune Posted 2 June, 2011 Author Posted 2 June, 2011 Car badges were another hobby back in the day... Along with hedge hopping.
Hamilton Saint Posted 2 June, 2011 Posted 2 June, 2011 The 80s were a bummer, man! Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher - OMG!
hamster Posted 3 June, 2011 Posted 3 June, 2011 My first ever tape. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ntIrUwR6F_E Seriously, ,ime too. Bought it when driving up to Old Trafford circa '84 with a car full of ****ed up mates. It was a Mk4 Cortina with a Mk5 grille, killed it under a lorry that pulled out on me along Queensway driving home after a night shift at the old Back of The Walls Post Office. I couldn't make that up and I thought I'd forgotten about it, all of it. I remember stopping in Oxford on theway home and no pub would let us in so I shot down to that The Swan just as you come out of Newbury for last orders. **** me, is this the alzheimers kicking in?
Colinjb Posted 3 June, 2011 Posted 3 June, 2011 Some good, good people were born in the 80's. And me.
Barney Trubble Posted 3 June, 2011 Posted 3 June, 2011 My purple Chopper* *Nothing rude, for those who weren't one of Thatchers children.
