Wes Tender Posted 2 June, 2011 Posted 2 June, 2011 So Lambert scores 29 goals for Bristol Rovers in the season before he came here and he's worth £1 million, but if Ings scored 20 goals, he'd be worth £2 million. Yeah, right, Mitchell, you idiot. You might fool yourself by thinking that, but you're not fooling anybody else, but making yourself look a fool instead. Who are these several other players worth a million, I wonder?

Wes Tender Posted 2 June, 2011 Posted 2 June, 2011 he would argue that he is worth 1-2m if chambo is £10m+ But Chambo's price tag is based on the laws of supply and demand. The top clubs in the Premiership all want to buy him. The man is an imbecile, a sort of glorified car salesman type. It's a pity that they didn't get promotion, so that we can stuff them twice again and put some dents in Mitchell's ego again.
Weston Super Saint Posted 2 June, 2011 Posted 2 June, 2011 Lol. I wonder if his [ings] mum would be happy driving him to Fulham every day for training
OttawaSaint Posted 3 June, 2011 Posted 3 June, 2011 Who knows these days, remember Wayne Bridge - 2 seasons in top flight 6M to Chelsea, then Glenn Johnson - a handful of games for West Ham - 7M to Chelsea...
Appy Posted 3 June, 2011 Posted 3 June, 2011 Who knows these days, remember Wayne Bridge - 2 seasons in top flight 6M to Chelsea, then Glenn Johnson - a handful of games for West Ham - 7M to Chelsea... Bridge played alot more than 2 seasons in the top flight before going to Chelsea.
dubai_phil Posted 3 June, 2011 Posted 3 June, 2011 Oh dear, does Eddie have money troubles again? Perhaps he just realised he screwed up again in the past month or so. Trying to push up the price of his players? Hmm
OttawaSaint Posted 3 June, 2011 Posted 3 June, 2011 Bridge played alot more than 2 seasons in the top flight before going to Chelsea. Thus making my point even more valid. I just guessed of the top of my head, same for Johnson...
OttawaSaint Posted 3 June, 2011 Posted 3 June, 2011 Just checked: Bridge 151 appearances for Saints - 7M plus Le Saux Johnson 15 appearances for West Ham - 6M
FloridaMarlin Posted 3 June, 2011 Posted 3 June, 2011 "The man is an imbecile, a sort of glorified car salesman type." A builder, actually, of pikey stock with lots of dodgy mates from whom he loaned money. They wanted paying back last year, hence he hawked Eddie Howe off to Burnley, having failed dismally to get Saints to take him and provide compo. Looks as though he needs to raise more money, so he's now trying to hawk players around. A season if struggle for those lovable cheery Cherries, I'm afraid. They had to get up this season or face the consequences. And the consequences are that Bradbury will have half his team sold from under him before the start of the season. Wouldn't have thought there was too much at the Fatness First stadium to interest us.

How the feck do Bournemouth keep getting in so much debt when they sell 2-3 of their best players, every season, for six figure sums!!!!?
