Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 2 June, 2011 Posted 2 June, 2011 Same here, love the kit, good quality, be a shame to see it go.
Turkish Posted 2 June, 2011 Posted 2 June, 2011 as football kits go, they are both great and i'd like us to keep the sash, it's unique, makes us different. Another great move from Cortese.
Junction 9 Posted 2 June, 2011 Posted 2 June, 2011 What a brilliantly designed website. How on earth did you find that?
The9 Posted 2 June, 2011 Posted 2 June, 2011 I hate the away kit and love the home kit. It's just someone's blog though...
opthomps Posted 2 June, 2011 Posted 2 June, 2011 Love the home and have one, don't like the away. History, plus a successful season in it surely mean it will live on fondly in our hearts, and even more so as it is a one off.
shurlock Posted 2 June, 2011 Posted 2 June, 2011 Written by a dumb yank - hardly a sartorial seal of approval. probably likes it because it looks some vacant, oversized ralph lauren or hilfiger shirt.
RedFear Posted 2 June, 2011 Posted 2 June, 2011 totally agree. quality kit and comfortably the best in any league this season
Charlie Wayman Posted 2 June, 2011 Posted 2 June, 2011 Why does this thread bring to mind the great lately-departed Lord Duckhunter? Best grass, best food, best hospitality... the one thing he forgot was we played not the best football! Who was that Welsh comedian bloke (Max Boyce?) who used to patronise the England Rugby Team of the 70's by saying: "We may have beaten you but at least you had the best jerseys!"
um pahars Posted 2 June, 2011 Posted 2 June, 2011 Have to say that I thought it was a really great shirt (might have something to do with no logo). That said, I'm torn between continuing with a sash and the stripes we are so famous for.

That said, I'm torn between continuing with a sash and the stripes we are so famous for. With the sash it's ours, we are individuals. Stripes and we just look like Sunderland, Stoke & Sheffield United amoungst others. Keep it i say, it's great.
