SuperMikey Posted 31 May, 2011 Share Posted 31 May, 2011 I've got 13 friends coming down for Saturday night (going out for a friend's birthday), and car parking at my accommodation requires a permit for each car for the princely sum of £20. Considering they'll be here for about 12 hours, it's probably not worth paying that. So, I was wondering where in the Avenue (as near to Glen Eyre Road as possible) you could park about 4 cars for free? There's a church on the Avenue that has a car park, that's the only one that I know of which is free to park, but not sure if they could park there overnight. Any ideas? Thanks! SuperMikey Posted 31 May, 2011 Author Share Posted 31 May, 2011 Mikey, do you know where I live? Serious question mate. I have the names and addresses of everyone on this forum. I'm assassinating them alphabetically, at the moment i'm only on surnames beginning with D. You're safe for now...

Wes Tender Posted 1 June, 2011 Share Posted 1 June, 2011 Surely you'd be OK parking in any of the roads off Glen Eyre Road?
Dimond Geezer Posted 1 June, 2011 Share Posted 1 June, 2011 Mikey, get off this forum & take a walk up Glen Eyre Rd, the fresh air will do you good, whilst enjoying the sunshine take a look at the road signs. According to the road signs on Google street view the permit parking in Glen Eyre Rd is 8am-6pm Mon-Fri. This means anyone can park for as long as they like between 6pm Friday & 8am Monday.
