Shower units-advice required please

After a power cut our electric shower unit seems not to be working ie only cold water passes through the system.

 

Anyone know if there are any simple things I can check on before assuming the unit is broken?

 

I have checked circuit board is all OK

turn off, and then turn on

Fuse on your consumer unit probably tripped or blown. Check to see if fuse switch has moved.

Oops, just read post properly. Try the fuse. If not may be a fuse on your shower switch. Doubt if it's the unit itself.
