John Boy Saint Posted 28 May, 2011 Posted 28 May, 2011 Before I get the man from Panasonic out to check my TV is anyone else experiencing a random resizing of their picture on their LCD/Plasma TV. Eg Sky Sports news is too big for the screen so stuff is missing at the edges regardless of what they do with the TV 16:9 14:9 that kind of stuff.

Yeah, and sometimes the sound goes muffled but turning it off/on again fixes it
Saint in Paradise Posted 29 May, 2011 Posted 29 May, 2011 Sometimes we have a similar problem, we turn the mains off to the TV, DVD and Sky box for 2 minutes. Turn it all on and alls well for a few months.
Katalinic Posted 29 May, 2011 Posted 29 May, 2011 I had the same problem. I followed the instructions on the link below in Sky Services and amended picture size to 16:9. Previously I had been trying to adjust via the TV controls but it seems Sky was the issue. All good now - hope it helps. http://www.sky.com/helpcentre/tv/standard-sky-box/picture-problems/adjust-aspect-ratio-to-fit-TV-screen/
Whitey Grandad Posted 29 May, 2011 Posted 29 May, 2011 Some teles have autosizing.Try turning this off (if you have it).
