Sofa Utilities

I thought I'd share a mix I did with you guys.

It's called Sofa Utilities and is a choice selection of morbidly obese beats for heads.

There are tracks by DJ Shadow, DJ Krush, Beastie Boys, UNKLE, Cut Chemist, Nightmares On Wax and plenty of Mo Wax classics (oh, and the Adhan is in there too)

I've just started working on a NinjaTune mix

How do you manage these things? Are you live mixing vinyl?

Vinyl is my usual weapon of choice however this mix was created on a PC using MixMeister Studio software.

I wanted to start making mixes for myself to listen to at work but wanted the ability to play around with tunes, loop them, add FX etc and Mix Meister ticked all the right boxes.

You can spend as much or as little time as you want getting a mix together. Sofa Utilities took me ages because I was playing around and experimenting with things that would be impossible using vinyl.
